Alex Morono goes off on Diego Sanchez' "Fake Coach" and his Death Punch

- Опубліковано 7 тра 2021
- Alex Morono not only replaced the legend, Diego Sanchez, but he bet the legend- Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone at UFC Vegas 26.
Alex comments on Diego Sanchez coach and was critical about him saying, "Fake Coaches… they believe their stuff is real. I can’t believe how embedded this one is in Diego…. It’s crazy to see."
"It’s weird. It makes me so mad when creepy adults lead their students astray.”
"Like that [Joshua] Fabia guy with the weird methods, death punch, to me that’s just so transparent… and it makes me mad cause it can get people hurt.”

I’m sure morono has gained a lot of fans after this. What an intelligent/respectful young man!
Yeah 100%. Hes easy to like, I know he has turned me into a fan
How is speaking on something you know zero about intelligent...
I thinking he is forcing the UFC narrative on Diego
@@Theo-dj7vs speaking of something you know nothing about intelligent...
what is it with people in comment sections? so quick to be a dick.
Just came to say this.
I like to root for a guy like this.
@@Theo-dj7vs ok Joshua oops I mean theo
This guy is very well spoken. Wish him all the best
Morono is my professor in BJJ and the way he presents himself in this interview (professional, well spoken, genuine) he is the say person on the mats. I'm super proud of him and very honored to be one of his students.
This kid is really self aware. He’s gonna have a long future in this.
Maybe he should open a self awareness school. The only other self awareness school that's around is kinda....lacking.
@@Tommy9834 lol. The existing self awareness school is being run by the person that might be the least self aware person in history.
@@Tommy9834 😂😂😂😂
Tom, steve...clearly bot accounts made by ufc
@@Tommy9834 ohh no u didn't 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👌
My god i had no idea he was well spoken, seeing as he’s a coach it makes sense that he needs to maintain a certain level of humility and intelligence in his image and he does a phenomenal job.
Extremely. He’s got an ability to be fully understanding of his performance almost as if he was a neutral observer. There aren’t many people that have this ability
For real, that was such an eloquent interview lol
...says the guy who has ThunderCOCK in his name.

10:00 the reason you clicked
thanks!
It starts at 6:00
thank you brother
Thank fuk for that
Thanks bro, 10min is way too long to reach why I clicked.
He is like the lightweight Anthony Smith in terms of having a lot of intelligence and how well spoken he is. Alex Moreno earned himself a lot of fans and i am very happy to see how his career progresses.
Don’t confuse intelligence with social skills, public speaking skills, self awareness, etc... Plenty of geniuses out there who if given a mic in public would collapse into sounding like they got held back in high school for a couple years. He’s clearly not dumb, far from it, just saying you don’t need a very high level of intelligence for the skills he is demonstrating in the interview.
This was a very frustrating situation but what better of a dude to get some spotlight than this guy
Agreed
I never herd of this kid before. I was watching bc I'm a old cowboy fan. This young man just earned a new fan. I like the way he carries himself and his is very well spoken.
This guy is 30 and will turn 31 on August 17, but he sounds like he is still from high school lmao.
This is what actual self awareness is. Just gained a new fan.
This guy should be a self awareness guru. Humble.
This guy seems way more intelligent than most ufc fighters. Not calling them dumb but this he seems like an outlier in that sense.
@@conservat1vepatr1ot no not really, its just usually hidden in lower no name fighters or the guys at the top, its rare dont kid yourself, over 50 percent are ummm
I don't think it's smarts per se, he's really experienced, and he's a good guy.
Its just the way he talks you cant tell someones smart by how they talk everyone can be thinking of these things they just dont talk about it like him, he’s literally talkin the whole time lmao
@@conservat1vepatr1ot I totally agree with u. This guy saying this must not watch very much MMA. U missed Dominick Cruz. One sharp cookie! Daniel Cormier and a whole bunch more as well.
Now there is a good amount of dumb dumbs as well but to say that bone heads exceed the smart ones is completely wrong.
Just admit youve never watched before
When asked about Diego . . . "Can I speak freely?!"
He seems like a real thoughtful cat, I really like this dude.
He just earned a new fan of his I have been a ufc fan for years love this guy need more like him
He’s a well spoken guy, represents himself very professionally
Kid has a great personality and is very intelligent...a bit reckless still in the ring, throws some wide wild shots but all in all he’s got a lot of potential and a great win. Congratulations kid.
Martial arts he just expresses his art that way prob his personality and that
Looked soft around dad nodded out too last minute definitely hurt him n performed well
@@jonescjify5582 ?
Articulate, well spoken, intelligent, thoughtful, and on top of it all, a beast of a fighter...it sounded like he was doing a podcast or a tedtalk, instead of a post fight interview after knocking out a UFC legend.
Gonna be rooting for this young man. He’s very gracious and humble.
You can tell this amazing kid is deadly serious about his commitment to the quality of coaching in martial arts... Even after that reporter tried to make a pun about hanging upside down and getting kicked and punched like Diego was, he didn't even flinch, laugh, or crack a smile. Love the intensity and passion on this dude.
guys like alex are rare find in MMA these days. Incredibly well spoken and a genuinely good man. Haven't seen his fights before cowboy, but I'm going to follow him for sure.
This kid has a future in commentary for sure

Yeah Spiderman
He looks like a grown #1 from Kids Next Door lol
Well this is an interesting and well spoken young man. If Cowboy had to lose a fight this is the right guy. Strong, respectful, humble in his youthful power. Hope he sticks around and makes his mark we need more of this guy in mma and life in general.
This guy spoke so well I am an instant fan! Direct Honest and from the heart ! Props to you man and congrats on the win even though I am cowboy fan
What an articulate, down to earth breath of fresh air to the spotlight. Well deserved, best of luck!
Couldnt have said it better, great attitude and outlook and big respect. Cant wait to see what the future holds for him.
Alex is like this everyday. He's a solid guy!
I love this kid. Hope he finds his grove & has success in the UFC
Well done Alex…class act and hope he throws light on who these fighters are. Every one is a super bad ass, most are running their own gyms, and it’s truly flying the most skilled fighters from around the world to meet in the octagon. Insane when you think about what’s happening…all amazing MMAists!
One hell of a interview! Alex seems to be a really solid dude.
I’m a fan 💯 now. I recall watching the Pettis fight. Great win bro
Great interview, loads of respect for this kid, btw, I’m a huge cowboy fan.
This dude really loves his life, and appreciates the moment. I’m a fan
5:50 is what you came for.
He’s been around a while and he’s gone about his business with humility and without much fanfare. I hope he keeps peaking because his intelligence and self awareness is impressive. Good luck to him.
Bro. I am loving this guy. Passionate but composed and thinks before he speaks. Very transparent... No agenda in the press conference. Stocks went way up!
Man Alex you just really won me over! I have watched like 3or4 of your fights but never anything that showed me who you are outside of the cage...but I’m impressed with both sides of you! Good for you my brother Keep it up n Keep kickin ass!!God Bless.🙏🏼💪🏼💯
I can see this guy being behind the desk as color commentator or play by play along side Rogan and DC.
Same thoughts here
I can see that for sure!
I feel like he’d be like Dominick Cruz commentating, very well articulated and insightful
Give this guy a podcast and I'm in!
Looking forward to following this man's career!
I am glad I clicked on this. I like this guy, smart and engaging. Just became a fan.
Cool dude. Respect. I am fan now
Good content, hope this guys goes well.
It is encouraging to see the public is now being introduced to fighters as opposed to bullies. True fighters do not need to fight, these men make the decision to make this their job. They often have a broad based experience in life, well versed in the journey, well spoken or at the very least humble and chose their words wisely. No trash talk is a blessing. Stay safe❤️🙏🏻
Very articulate and collected
I 've never hear him speaking, he is nice accissible, real interresting, he deserves to be known as a fighter sure, but also as analyst or commentator, seems to be a cool clever guy, wish him the best
Love to see the respect for the older guys. I have no problem w shit talking leading up to the fight. But this is how you handle yourself afterwards. Respect to this young guy.
Extremely respectful. He just gained a fan.
This kid is very much in tune with reality. Good luck kid
Intelligence is pouring out of this fighter!!!! Clear, concise... well -spoken!!!
Just became of a fan of Alex just by this interview. Good dude.
He looks like the meanest meat head in the world but he seems to be and sounds like the nicest dude ever
Came here for the comment but ended up watching the entire interview and this guy is very well spoken and you can tell he takes this soort very seriously.
I watched this guys interview the other day he's pretty chill I thought he could win like he did.
how can you not be a fan after hearing him speak and seeing him brawling and being so hungry..it was beautiful, all a viewer wants, not point fighting bullshit
Wow. Super passionate guy. Really surprised me. Very humble. Very open minded dude.
He is self aware
What a great interview. FYI, don't bother watching pre-fight pressers. Post fight discussion really shows the grit and headspace of combat athletes.
Such a good, well spoken dude.
Impressive fighter. Impressive personality. Intelligent and well spoken. I'm officially a fan
What a great demeanor and attitude he has.
Alex Morono comes off so well here. Thoughtful, well-spoken, full of gratitude and humility. His students must be very lucky to have him.
Jesus this dude is very articulate and has some very good insight on the whole mma universe.
I like this guy, never noticed him before, smart fight IQ it seems, humble and stands on what he believes, hope we see good things from him!

He starts talking about Diego at 6:00
Cool dude. Well spoken, good fighter, humble.
When he smiles at the 6 minute mark. Fucking Golden 😂😂
Class act this kid, through and through. He keeps it up and the sky ISN'T the limit for him.
The live chat during his interview: OMG SHUT TF UP AND GO AWAY
The comments now: He's so well spoken and intelligent, we love him.
Morono is a real one. This dude definitely has a future after fighting.
Alex is a very well spoken, sharp kid. He’s got a future behind a mic in MMA.

Nice win against Cowboy. Alex has future commentator potential as well.

Hate to see cowboy lose so bad. But atleast its to a respectful articulate dude. Gained another fan bro. Wish you the best.
What an intelligent and positive individual
He seems like a solid guy. Lucid and well spoken. I hope this win launches him into the upper echelon at his weight class

Alex will be here for long time i love it this guy he is very smart
Fantastic sound guys, hell of a job
I had no idea I’d end the weekend being a Alex Morono fan. Well done sir.
When I saw that diago trainning vid my heart sank
Cowboy a badass he just needs to be 10 years younger is all.
Who else remenbers the kid from Tapout TV Show a million years ago?
In the before times although people forget Clay Guida man that guys been here since 2004 back when pride still existed
He's older and slowing down, but he's also an open book at this point. Everyone knows how to beat him now because there's so much tape on him and his strengths/weaknesses/habits. Now he's kind if just a test to see if prospects have the skill and ability to exploit him
Seems like a really good guy just doin what he had to love that
Hope he has a good career and hope he starts commenting fights, he seems to be talented in that regard!
