- The United States has become closer to making a decision on the transfer of long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing US and European officials. There are signs that the White House has revised its position on the supply of such weapons to Kyiv, the newspaper writes. Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said that the final decision on the transfer of ATACMS to Ukraine has not been made. How long-range missiles can affect the course of Russia's war against Ukraine - our correspondents found out.

It should be communicated that Russia has until this date to leave ALL of sovereign Ukrainian territory. After the date set, IF they are STILL there, then it's OVER for them, the might of NATO will be unleashed against them. Period, end of story. There is NO NEED to be afraid of Little man Putler. He is nothing, and this was demonstrated last week with the Prigozhin insurrection ..... the Coward Putler fled .... with the rest of his minions .... what DOES THAT SAY ??? I think for us Americans who support Ukraine it should be thought over why is Biden stone walling giving Ukraine what it needs to kill all of the Orcs and drive them out of Ukraine?
To me the reason is clean when you look at what the Hunter laptop have reviled in the Biden corruption with Putin through a close friend sends Hunter Biden 3.5 million in US cash corruption cash and then we learn that wasn't all because Joe Biden took from Putin $236.000 more of dirty corruption cash.

I believe Lockheed Martin no longer make this typos missile . Replacement coming in 2024. Only about 4,000 were made. Don’t know how many left since end of production but hopefully 🇺🇦 will get some soon.

The US has to deliver these long-range missiles to Ukraine. The prospects for Ukraine’s army in this war is dim without both these weapons and the F-16 jets or else Ukraine will lose too many of its brave fighters to maintain a sustained effort against Putin’s forces. If the West is supporting Ukraine they need to enable a victory or else the whole thing would have been a waste of time and, more importantly, human lives.

ATACMS is a long-range guided missile that gives operational commanders the immediate firepower to win the deep battle. Each ATACMS missile is packaged in a MLRS look-alike launch pod and is fired from the MLRS Family of Launchers. The ATACMS Block 1A uses an improved inertial guidance system combined with a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS). Given the improved guidance and the short range of the system, the accuracy for the unitary warhead is likely 10-50 m CEP, though the saturation from submunitions eliminates CEP. A cluster munition, or cluster bomb, is a weapon containing multiple explosive submunitions. Cluster munitions are dropped from aircraft or fired from the ground or sea, opening up in mid-air to release tens or hundreds of submunitions, which can saturate an area up to the size of several football fields.

Pay the manufacturer to make ATACMS in Poland for Ukraine and others.. I read that ATACMS is no longer being made in the USA. Post war, they can export ATACMS to all the countries buying the now popular HIMARS. I know there is a replacement in development for ATACMS. Poland might modify an ATACMS to carry one of USA's "silver bombs".

It's about time Ukraine got these things. We need to keep the pressure on our governments to help Ukraine win this fight, despite our enemies sowing dissent in our countries. Ukraine needs several squadrons of strike aircraft that is the bottom line. It's frustrating because many of these aircraft types are being phased out of service anyway, so it won't really cost anything to the respective countries. Storm Shadow basically opened the door for ATACMS. Deliveries could begin shortly after a one month training of crews. Ukraine deserves every weapon system it needs. The US and UK are pledged to do this by the Budapest memorandum or 1994.

Give them what they need to destroy the antiair defense systems, weather its real time satellite imagery to hit them before they can move or more rockets and missiles or both. Once the Ukrainians can destroy these systems it will be a game changer.
