- Visits to several Powder Horn fairs and organization meetings over the last couple of years. I've always liked black powder shooting and especially making powder horns. I have been making them a long time, but don't come near what some of these artists do. Simply amazing!
I´d like to make me a new powder horn and this video give me plenty of inspiration. Thanks a lot and greeting from Germany.
Nice touch with songs of birds…
I want to get a horn and try this. I just finish my first flint lock rifle kit.
Thank you Ron. These are exquisite.
Some beautiful work on display.
I love tooling leather. Do they ever use something like a leather covering for powder horns?
You didn't often see a powder horn entirely covered in leather, but leather was a main method to repair a crack or damaged horn. A few were entirely encased in a leather covering, but this was more artistic than necessary, as it was easy to add quill work and/or beadwork.
Where is this located ? My dad would like to attend
This was at Dixon's Gun Fair in Kempton, PA., but after this year, they have decided to end having it. I have to find another one.
That truly is a shame there’s so much talent there
When you have another one located please continue to share with us a location and a time if you would please

@@faisalkhan-ds7rd hello
Do you by any chance know the name of the blacksmith at the 0.08 time hack.
I'm sorry, but I don't.
Any horns for sale ?
I usually get my raw horns from www.powderhornsandmore.com, or www.villagerestorations.com or www.crazycrow.com. They all have a nice selection.
