Re-watching again I have to completely agree about how 343 just didn't understand the forerunner and Covenant architecture. Bungie had a perfect mix of mysterious, advanced technology that's decaying due to lying dormant for so many years.
343's vision is just to make everything shiny and neon looking that looks so generic.
Damn, I'm gonna have to play Halo CE again for the 1,000th time, probably the first game I play on Series X with the 120fps and FOV slider patch.

i prefer og Xbox and even og pc version. the plasma pistol feels delayed and the magnetic plasma projectile is less auto hitting enemies
