Terrifier 2 definitely is my favorite horror movie so far this year.
Ellie 😰😰♥️😭 TERRIFIER 2 IS GOAT TIER
Facts!
Chucky season 2 is getting worse and worse I'm convinced Don Mancini has no clue what's he's doing. Terrifier 2 was great my favorite horror movie this year tbh
Oh nooooo 😳
Nahhh when he was sitting in the chair at the maze. I was not going to wait for him to get up and scare tf outta me lol
That one got me SO bad
That burp intro 😂😅, also yeah after rewatching Hocus Pocus 2 I would say I like it as much as the first and the time is pretty similar to the original I mean the original feels a bit darker but other than that they are very similar in tone
Bruce Willis is funny in The Fifth Element, but I don’t think that you finished that one. 😥
I did not :/ wasn’t for me
@@HauntedHippie this is just me, but I always finish every movie, even if I spend most of my time on my phone or laptop. I will say this though, in the theater I wish I had walked out of Dreamcatcher, The Grudge 2 and Men (with the 5 awful births they kept showing over and over again).
mike flanagan did not disappoint with the midnight club tbh, terrifier 2 however.. wow
I did a GHOSTBUSTERS marathon. watched all 4 films. maybe you should review them and compare the 1984 classic to the 2016 reboot.
Hi Kylie. Since you've already mentioned this twice: there is no „cut down“ version of TERRIFIER 2. The movie is 138 minutes long (in cinemas and on screambox), not 2 hours and 38 minutes 😉
Omg I’m telling you gay people cannot do math 😭😭 someone did tell me that they were gonna trim it down though??
Trust me, I‘m not gay but still the worst at math 😅 I actually haven't heard anything about a shorter version and the UK Blu-ray is also 138 minutes long, just like the announced US Blu-ray. Maybe that's just what some people wish 😉
@@dabbelju2224 someone was lying in my comments section then 😫
Let's just say someone was misinformed 😉
Well, it was reported a month or two before its release that it would be 2 & 1/2 hours long.
Maybe it got edited down at the last minute.
Why not Ryder tha Spyder?
Have you seen 2011s rango starring Johnny depp if you haven’t you need to watch it
Harold Defiantly Harold lol 😂 I enjoyed your live UA-cam I really hope I didn’t ask you anything you didn’t like? Hehe
I love the haunting of hill house, after that his shows when down hill
Glad I didn’t bother seeing pray for the devil your second person who didn’t like it
God you are beautiful ❤️
Ngl, didn’t like Terrifier 2. The runtime was way too long, some of the kills were way over the top and at times fake looking imo and lasted longer than needed which ended up feeling comedic, some bad acting, the plot made no sense, and whenever Art wasn’t onscreen I was bored. I gave it a 2.5/5 on letterboxd. Art the Clown is phenomenal but the Terrifier series isn’t for me but I’d still watch Terrifier 3 whenever it comes out hopefully to answer some questions I had for 2
I gave it 2.5 too 🤷🏽♀️
Terrifier 2- not just my favorite horror movie of this year, but favorite opening night theater experience and got an awesome final girl with Lauren LaVera. Loved it!
Chucky season 2- I'm mixed on it. Some episodes rock and some are meh.
Hocus Pocus2- like the Craft:Legacy,it's a late made sequel that misses the point of the original film/its characters and the protagonist basically become the freakin X-men in the final act. They really should've gone with a PG-13 rating to still have the darker themes and humor of the original. Ghostbusters Afterlife should've been the quality standard for the film, but sadly they went down the Eddie Murphy's Haunted Mansion route. Rob Zombie's the Munsters was better by comparison.
I love the chaos in the first 53 seconds of this video 🤣
Side note: I’ve always been under the impression that if a woman can’t burp in front of you she’s keeping secrets 😂🤷🏽♂️
I’m an open book lol
Hey Haunted Hippie, your videos rock!
As an 80s teen who watched horror, Terrifier 2 was the old-school hardcore gore, which I'm used to and this would have been in Fangoria magazine, which I used to read in the 80s. I would strongly suggest getting your hands on a theater-used movie poster Terrifier 2 if possible, and keep it safe, because it might just be worth a fortune in the future :) Hint, hint...
PS: I used to sell 80s original theater-used movie posters on eBay. Good times.
I did enjoy Hocus Pocus 2, and the Roomba bit especially had me CACKLING, but that and pretty much all the best bits were just rehashes of the original 😕 I just wanted something a bit more new from it I guess. I much preferred the teenagers in this one though, less annoying than the first 😆
Yes, Terrifier 2 is insane. Definitely horror movie of the year in my book. But there's not a cut down version of the movie at this time. Liked the first one and found myself enjoying it much more after watching it again! Can't wait for part 3!!
"Where did it go? Into the vortex?!"
So relatable hahaha
It was on the chair the WHOLE time like omg
LOL your intro 😂
About Bruce Willis, he was in a bit of Friends, playing Ross's girlfriend's dad who doesn't like Ross. He was hilarious. I also love Death Becomes Her!
Love where Chucky season 2 is going…the only show on the air right now that even makes me watch cable television
"He's so good at playing an old man."
Hahaha, He doesn't have to "play" that part 🤣
Yeaaaa that was the joke congrats lol
@@HauntedHippie Ooooooooh. K
I'm kind of impressed by how Mike Flanagan can take little details or scenes from this or that Stephen King book and turn it into a show. Midnight Mass, for instance, just swapped Silver Bullet's werewolves for vampires and was able to base an entire show on the werewolf reverend's dream sequence where his congregation turns into werewolves. Just throw in a dash of Salem's Lot and voila. The Midnight Club's basic premise sounds suspiciously like the mysterious old men in The Breathing Method who meet in some weird mansion to tell each other strange stories.
It is based on a book of the same name by Christopher pike but idk anything about it
Hocus Pocus 2 had no 'stakes'. The witches weren't threatening at all. In the original, I felt like they really wanted to kill children and suck their souls (and they did!). This felt more like a Disney channel sequel. Didn't really have much of a point to exist other than to retcon the witches into semi-decent people? The music also didn't quite match the music from the original. This was more show-tuning. It was camp, but in a different way. That being said, i did like the opening number, especially when the one girl asks "who are they performing for" "YOU!". But I tend to like that ?self-aware? humour.
I was really pumped for midnight society, but it just didn't give me that, "whoa, I need more" feeling. I
Also, I agree that, Hocus Pocus 2 was awesome. As someone who watched this as a kid and watches it every year, I give 2 a "Hell ya"
Great video. I'm personally getting pissed where chucky season 2 is going. It feels like the campy tone of Bride, seed, and cult. Which I hate. Don is just doing whatever he wants instead of catering to his fan base. I get it it's his show but I need it to be serious for me to stay invested. The first 3 films balanced it nicely, cause there's always a little camp with chucky, but dam I hate bride and seed and this season feels exactly like a sequel to those. Which is only bad to me cause those films are a joke. Literally. I can't stand them. I really want to like it cause the first 3 child's play are horror film firsts for me as a kid along with Friday 13th. I even liked season 1. But idk bout this season. It's not finished so I'll wait till then to pass or fail it.
I love Bride and actually really like Seed but tbh I gave up hope on the franchise after Cult of Chucky
I never watched all of Terrifier. The acting took me out of it. And watching a woman get sawed in half is not for me. But the hype around Terrifier 2 got me. And I really enjoyed it.
Hey Haunted Hippie you gotta watch Blind Date movie starring Bruce Willis .
That’s a very nice camel spider you bought
Scream 4 was ahead of its time in terms of Jill Robert's motives. Imagine if that came out now, it would make much more sense.
Thanks for some recommendations but I got say that coat looks really good on you and comfortable also looking forward to so good Christmas horror movies picks for the holidays
The Cabinet of Curiosities episode “The Viewing” is pretty good, but it starts off slow and ends right when it starts to get great. Still, one of the better episodes, though.
I fuck with that flannel/jacket…. Straight steezy 🤘
Heather came back cause of Jaimie Lee Curtis return to Halloween
Harold the skeleton spider!!
I never thought it about before but the hocus pocus movie is kind of dark for a children movies
I’m thankful for you streams to keep me up to date on all these movies. I have Chucky season one now. So fun.
Your easy to watch because I have lots of daughters and they to keep me up to date on what they like. Even what’s good and latest in music and books. Now I have stuff to share watching you on movies. 👍🙂
Bros is making fun of the hall mark Christmas movies
Yea he's definitely a harold
You have phenomenal drip
I powered through ‘The Patient’ I’m curious to hear what you think lol
Ok, I vote for calling the bone spider Harold! I have a bone scorpion hanging on my wall by his tail. It's around a thumbtack. Anyway, the Outside episode of Cabinet of Curiosities was my fave so far. Anyone who's felt weird, awkward or ugly will get it. I was looking forward to Pickman's Model more, but ended up liking it less. I recommend the short story by H. P. Lovecraft. It's better and waaay shorter haha. And I can't wait for your overview of Chucky S2.Been having so much fun with it especially the last episode. Final thing, I llove that witch banner on your wall! I kept forgetting to mention that.
Thank youuu I’ve really embraced that I’m a maximalist. I love my decor lol
I'm late but hope the spider is named Harold!?
Why does prey for the devil sounds like an anime plot 😭
Love your vids
I saw Sissy in theaters this month at a horror film festival in Warsaw and REALLY enjoyed that one. I think it's similar to Bodies Bodies Bodies in many ways, but just way funnier (especially) and a much more cohesive story and interesting one too. Sissy needs more love and attention for sure. Great vid Kylie, thanks!
Yesss for sure better than Bodies
Did you do a spoiler review on terrifier 2?
Chucky Season 2 Has Been The Largest Highlight For Me The Entire Month Of October. I've Been Enjoying The Living Shit Out Of How Much Sillier Yet Darker This Season Has Been Just Much As Season 1. I Noticed Some Flaws But When Does The Chucky Franchise Not Have It's Flaws & It's Broken The 4th Wall Multiple Times Which I've Enjoyed So I Would Say My Favorite Thing I've Watched All October Long Has To Be Season 2 Of The Chucky TV Series.
So excited to keep watching!!
I agree the del toro show is boring
'theres even more poop ' LOL!!
NOT THE MEME related to happy death day and freaky cause ehmmm where is the lie ? Legit my fave and probably only horror comedies I enjoy lol
As you know , I completely agree with your prey for the devil thoughts .
I’m so curious about the tinder documentary !!!
Your nails SLAY !!!!!
Aw thank youuuu 🤭
Sup
The burp slayed omgg
I didn't touch Hocus Pocus 2. I'm just going to pretend it was never made.
Being close minded is a huge L
@@HauntedHippie Believe me, I've subtracted pleeenty of life minutes on trash, because I'm open minded.
I've heard way too much negativity about it from people I trust, not to bother.
You didn’t like sienna as a final girl in Terrifier 2? I thought she was great!
I didn’t say that ?
I should’ve asked that as a question!
You should name your spider "Harold". The movies that I watched last month were mostly the popular horror movie franchises such as the Child's Play series (in honor of Chucky Season 2), A Nightmare on Elm Street series, Halloween series (in honor of Halloween Ends), Friday the 13th series, Scream series and the Leprechaun series. As well as the Goosebumps movies with Jack Black, Hocus Pocus 2, Better Watch Out, Orphan First Kill and Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo.
Also, starting off this video with a burp. Pure golden!!!
I watched all the Chucky movies in October. I really like the first 3 movies. Seed is entertaining in how absolutely off the wall crazy it is (it's a fever dream for sure). Every movie after it just gets worse and worse. I hate Cult of Chucky.
Rn watching the show, which I'm really enjoying
Sissy was my favorite Shudder original... until I watched Deadstream. Babysitter 2 was good but if you didn't read the synopsis of the first Babysitter before watching it, the absolute shock of what happens is amazing. Idk if you read those but recommend trying to go in blind if you know you're gonna watch a movie regardless 🤷♂️
Hi!
Seizing the moment ( Halloween has just passed us by.. 3 days ago...), dare I say I am curious: Have you ever gone through some sort of paranormal activity?
As a horror fan, I ask another horror fan.
I once saw what seemed to be some angel' s wings; they were gigantic and white...you could see the formation of feathers from afar.
If you want another film where Bruce Willis is comedic, the Disney film The Kid is a great example of his comedy chops. I have such a soft spot for that film.
Wow! Ms. Kylie deserves credit for her frank appraisal of Bros.
The burps at the start are legendary now also Eugene is awesome.
I finally watched Terrifier 2 on Halloween night.
OMG!!!
So much head and face trauma on it .
The only problem I had with it was Art's use of guns in it.
I think he's more terrifying when he's going medieval on people with hand weapons.
Maybe if he had a clown-type prop gun that actually shot buckshot or something I could be on board with that.
Also, some more clever weapons like an acid-shooting flower or giant mallet would've fit in perfectly with this.
Yea I never like gun use in slashers, he does a bit in the first movie too
@@HauntedHippie I was an 80s teen (loved horror) and when Art pulled out the gun it was for shock and disgust --- to piss off horror fans. Mission accomplished in my book --- I thought it was clever :)
Terrifier 2 was amazing, Halloween Ends, a damn slap in the face 🤣😭 I'm watching Significant Other tonight...
