no, i like ju jutsu better for that reason
this is ok, the goal is to flip the opponent over atleast one full rotation, with out them being in control of the flip, so if they are on the floor face down, and u twist their ankles to turn them over, to land them on their back, u win, but not if they stop the fall with their hands
    similarily
if you throw the guy over your hip you win, but not if he lands on his feet or stops the throw with one of his hands

We should be proud of people like sushil kumar who fights their way to the victory no matter what the odds are..rather than those who are showered with money but do nothing..

Indian was physically strong... he didn't require any techniques to win over KAZAKH guy. But my man Kazakh also wasn't easily to give up.
    FRIENDSHIP HAS WON!!! URA-URA-URA!!

Excerpt from Hindu: "It was tough to get out of the ‘clinch’ and 99 per cent of the time the wrestler who gets the toss in his favour wins the period. Of course, Sushil Kumar had defied that as he became a member of the one percent club when he got out of the ‘clinch’ to win that memorable Olympic medal in Beijing."

Sushil would have won if he'd played his first match of that day with his leg forwarded.

Bharat ancient Aryavarta (land of Aryans) has an ancient tradition in wrestling. People like Sushil have aided in keeping this tradition alive. He is not only strong but well trained and intelligent. A gentleman as well. Time to involve the people of Kashmir Valley in wrestling they had a great tradition as well. The results would be extraordinary. Two genuinely great wrestlers Gama Butt (Bhat) Rahim Bux Butt were from Kashmir Valley. Gama is one of the greatest wrestler ever. Rahim was as good as him. I am a Dogra from Jammu but lived in Kashmir Valley. The people there have an extremely powerful physique. Add Gurez the Dardic people to this and India reaches the sky in wrestling.

u talk too much!! how would people practice sport or consider taking it up as livelihood when they have to think about whether they can afford their next meal...india have got some fine talent...bt nothing is nurtured or supported ....we have got some tough sports ...if u would ever consider to take note of them like mallakhamb, kalaripayattu or kushti/wrestling...these are damn tough sports and a lot of people practice them indigenously ...chk them out if u want to -- watch?v=Y7MUjFliBNk
