I really appreciate your being a Filipino loving person. I wish you the best of everything as you experience what the Filipino can offer while you are still in the Philippines. From California USA, I wish you the best of luck.
that was a very nice experienced for you KD, because they see to it that you are safe while your travelling alone there....enjoy and keep safe always Ansalm...God bless.
Only in the Philippines would you enjoy dinner 1, 2 and even 3. Don’t be dismayed if you get late or removed from what you originally planned. The order of unplanned events could come as a blessing and worth the wait.
Hey Anselm, your blog is getting better and better, good to watch...it seems you really take a good effort to make it more appealing to watch, very informative as well.
Hiya, always love the music you choose. I love that sign. Leave your ego at the door. Shame you missed your boat. That's good least they know who's on the island. Lovely drone footage. The food looked delicious. Love the lights of the bridge. Great video. Have a great day.
Great video Anselm. I am on it. LOL. It's me AL. Sad to know your trip to Basilan got "Daot". Well there are things that does not go as planned. But still, you had fun. Maybe one day i could accompany you get around Zamboanga City, There are places here that I myself have not gone to. Stay safe my friend.
I feel nostalgic, i miss my provincr life . Ur vlog id getting better even more Love the scenery , flock of trees n plant n green grass. This is what i love in the province life. Basilan is starting to a more progress t
I think this experience is a good reminder that if you go to these parts of the Philippines, you should COORDINATE FIRST, especially if you're a foreigner. BUT YOU CAN STILL GO THERE! Just speak to the Isabela City Tourism Office - they are incredibly helpful and will take care of you! Risks still exist, they are thankfully not as bad as in the past, but they still exist!
I have a positive outlook but as you travel on the same direction over and over again in west coast of mindanao that is something unusual to a foreign tourist.. Be careful buddy.. Don't be complacent.. Anything can happened on the streets.. As i observed you cannot reach 50k views a day, still struggling . In my own opinion if you don't mind maybe you can divert your path and explored again visayas region like what happened to Matt and Molly your fellow brit compatriots..same followers with you then sky-rocket to 200k after they explored visayas region and special mention my favorite "mr. deadpool" as he explored visayas again.. With all the clumsiness and very emotional trip but look at it 1.01M followers.. Unbelievable.. That is immortal living legend hero aka "Deadpool".. 😆
Zamboanga is a beautiful city, from what I recall as a teenager! I went there in the 1970s one summer, for a Church Youth Conference. It was sooo lush and clean! The ocean and the surroundings was a perfect match…We were there for a week! We rode the boat from Davao City to Zamboanga. I had fun of course! BTW, there were lots of Muslims at the time! They were very nice and friendly. Missed that place…Basilan, on the other hand looks cool and nice! I have heard lots of positive vibes about it from friends who live there. Well, glad you had a great time despite the hiccup! Take care…♥️🙏👊🏼🇺🇸🇵🇭

Al is an interesting and nice guy. He has his own story to tell. Anselle's journey has been very interesting. Experiencing and seeing different things, meeting people and randomly eating local food and other unexpected setbacks along the way. People are friendly and things are looking up, although Basilan and Jolo has been thru a lot in the past with history of encounters with some rebels against the military.
thank you and kulas. even though I'm from Manila and never been to basilan and don't have a plan, because of you and kulas, I can see and appreciate the place. I wish there's no conflict anymore. imagine the tourist that will flock there? locals will have a job. thank you and always take care kumander.

Wow 150P as a fellow Brit new tyres and even puncture repair is expensive.. Im proud that you gave more than asking price to that guy... KwikFit would have taken your eyes out. Safe journey hope you dont get naore nails for a month or two
Back to basilan the best way. So cheap vulcanizing of 2 holes at P150 is not normal price. In other places, it's P350 for one patch. Hope you promote more of Basilan and Sulu with help from the locals.
That tire repair person is very honest, plus he very knowledgeable. It’s sad that with his education and work experience to be tire repair person is not good for the country. He mentioned that the salary he get working as a nurse in his community is low. That’s why he went overseas for work. The government should do something about the low pay for nurses.
