Be careful Max We just had a Maule mt -7-260 super rocket go down here in La Porte Tx (T41) on Monday , flight lasted about a min and a half pilot survived but in critical condition , from what I've heard he took off and immediately experienced mechanical failure tried to make it back around to the runway crashed just past the airport fence line. tail number was N4008J
Wow! Lucky to survive an attempted 'impossible turn'. I'm lucky that at Van Nuys (if you're taking off to the south) there is a golf course and some large open areas if it quits on takeoff. A couple years ago, a guy took off from Whiteman (a little to the east of me), engine failed on takeoff, he crashed into an intersection with train tracks running through it, and the plane was hit by a train. The pilot survived by being pulled out of the plane to safety with moments to spare. Maybe you've seen the footage of this, but I'm still in awe of it.
That's one sweet sounding engine on that plane, nice landing by the way . That flight path isn't that the old flight path they use to fly the old B series bombers out of back in world War 2 and I think it was a women crew back then because all the men were at war.
Thanks for taking us along and another great video!
That looks like so much fun. Enjoy Max.
Nice job Max, Thanks for taking us along! 🤘
Thanks!
Nice Touch and Go 🧈🧈🧈
Thank you!

Keep up those hours
Okay, so I saw the thumbnail for this video and thought, "cute brunette girl with pony tail flying an airplane." GODDAMMIT.
Sorry!! I'd be disappointed too!
Surprised you don't use foreflight. I don't leave the ground without it!
Is that the plane you bought ?
No, not this one. I bought an Aeronca Chief. Red and white. You'll see it soon!
@@HeavyMetalHorizons Sweet! I've been researching taildraggers myself. 👍
