We live just a few miles from here. Im going to book this campground. We dont do enough boondocking! In 9 years of camping, we done it only 3 times. so, i looked up your video to see what this area looks like for Rv's. Lots of room....im going! Thanks for the video.
Cypress is one of the nicest ones we went too, you will love it. Its very queit, secure and not issues getting rigs of different sizes in. Not to mention it is so close to the city that if you forget something you can easily find it or in your case run home. I would say we boondock about 90-95% of the time. Really love it and you can't beat the cost. Enjoy and looking forward to hearing about how it went.
That's fantastic, you will love it. It's so peaceful back there. And still close to town if you need any supplies or other adventures. Can't wait to hear about how it goes for you guys
@@thewanderingshores this is a great website for camping info in florida. especially the google map of free campsites around the state. www.floridaboondocker.com/
Hi Kyle, watching more of your vids! Im booking here. Wanting to do some more free camping before it gets hot down here....lol Your video was great for showing us around and the warnings of the branches. Thanks again buddy!
Awesome! Thank you! please keep us updated on how you like the spot. It will be interesting to see if it has changed much over the 3 years since we did the video.
@@kyleshore6771 do you happen to remember the address/gps coordinates you used to get there? For some reason I’m seeing two different addresses. If not no worries! Just trying to avoid getting stuck up sh*ts creek in our rig! 😅
Great to see you guys again! Thanks Sooo much for this spot.We are currently in Eastbank Campground in GA.on the Fla. Border. Going to AZ.this year? We are headed that way end of Jan.!!
Great to hear from you guys again, yes, we're actually in Arizona right now. Let us know when you get out this way We are in the LTVA just north of Yuma.
@@thewanderingshores Awesome! Definitely will send you a message when we get there. Have you done a review of that place yet? Please send link if you have. Thanks!
@@parkininparadise We haven't done a review on this location. Not sure if we will but here is a pretty decent one ua-cam.com/video/eJqiAHfEk7w/v-deo.html

Thank you for all the info. We are planning on staying here this winter. It will be a 1st for us. All your info helps ! My only question is how do you make the reservation? Do you have a link if it is a website?
Glad it was helpful. Here is a link to their website with all the information on all the camping areas they have there in the Tampa area including this one www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/camping
Another detailed review! You are very thorough! We think it is too much of a maze and too many trees to bring our fifth wheel in. Do you think it was not too busy because it was still COVID when you went? ~ Shion and Matthew
I think it was partially because of COVID, but I have seen more recent reviews from some of the channels that they watch that have been there this year and it's still not very busy. I think people just don't know about it or don't have the capacity to boondock without hookups. I definitely think you guys would be able to get into a few of the spots at this one, but there are other ones in Florida that will be much easier. Thanks for checking this video out.- Kyle
There is a small lake right as you come through the gate on the right hand side. But I really don't think it's anything that would be sufficient for any kayaking or canoeing.
Did you know our website has a free interactive map with all our campsite reviews? Check out www.thewanderingshores.com

When you make a reservation they will send an email and the gate code will be in the email.
