Well that's the difference between a professional reviewer and a novice/hack like my self, you covered everything I covered and much more in 15 min, and mine was 17 min! LOL! Nice review my guy, I kind of lamented the ankle artic in my review but now I will go back and see if mine will give a little more range! Having said all that I think we both agree that this piece is absolutely awesome, one of Mezco's best.
Great detailed review. Great intro pose! I really dig the lighting you use for your reviews too. I just added this figure to my collection this week. I really love the look of this figure. This is actually my first Mezco and I must say that the details are exceptional. I am a little disappointed with the articulation because I’m used to Mafex Hush and DKR articulation which is very good. But what this lacks in articulation it makes up for with amazing texture and attention to detail. Now that you’ve owned all these Supreme Knight figures for over a year how would you say they are holding up? Is the material in the suit giving you any problems a year later? I’m really interested in adding the original Supreme Knight black and grey version to my collection but I’m worried about the costume material breaking down over time. I’m big on action poses with my figure display. If these figures can’t hold action poses for extended time then I may pass on buying another. Hey thanks a bunch! I generally don’t keep them in action poses long term so I can’t speak to how well it will handle an extended dynamic pose over the course of months or years. My guess is that the fabric will likely hold up in terms of flaking, but you risk stretching it in places. The standard black/gray version has a slightly looser suit anyway, so I think that specific one will be fine, especially if you tend to revisit and re-pose them in a new position once in a while. Some of the tighter-fitting ones I’d be more concerned.
El Lego Rojo I think I like this one slightly more because of all the swap out options, but that Sovereign has my favorite headsculpts. It’s also like a third of the price right now.
El Lego Rojo You’d probably have to spend over $200 maybe even $250 for the Shadow Knight. If it were me I’d be buying the Sovereign Knight and putting the extra $150 towards another two Mezcos.
nio issuecb Oh interesting, I didn’t. The whole figure felt thinner I figured it was the suit. But I also didn’t think to specifically check the legs. I’ll have to check again when I get home and see if they are a totally different part.
