Glamour, this is becoming a problem with you. It's perfectly acceptable to feature larger women, but please give smaller women more than a few seconds of screen time. I'd really appreciate hearing their points of view as well, especially because I don't relate to the problems larger women might experience with clothing. Not hating on them, of course, but it's still a little disheartening.

@01 .04 In case you didn't know many people are overweight due to medical conditions. I know someone who wants to lose weight but can't due to health problems that have nothing to do with being bigger. I also know of people who were skinny that gained weight and could lose it because of health issues.

I spent most of my younger life being told to cover up my body. Now they make stylish clothes for us I’m proud! Not over compensating just comfortable in my skin, regardless of how much fat I have.
Yeah ikr . As a naturally skinny girl I like comfy clothes. I wear tight clothes on special occasions but not all the time. I think people should wear what they feel comfortable with. I am very self conscious since I have no curves so I look really flat with like a dress or a revealing shirt so I guess baggy clothes look cute on me

People can embrace their body; it's their choice. However, I think the problem on that the thinner women get less screen time than the bigger women. Idk, maybe I'm wrong.

I just think that when ur at the point of extreme obesety it could literally kill you (even if most of them completely deny it even tough science is there to back it up). what im trying to say is that anyone can embrace their body but when you r big to an extent it rubs me the wrong way not bc i hate fat people or i think they r gross and blobery but because it shows that they have given up on their body and they would rather sit all day eating and living on support money that we contribute to. Yes I agree but sizes? Like 0-28 it doesn’t get anymore than that. They have one woman per size. And it shows the thinner women? And it shows the bigger women? They can’t show 2 women with the same size, what would that mean to the other sizes?

I don't know why but I would love to see my class do this too. I want to see their faces when they realise I have the same size as most of them even when I'm 5'11 while they are 4'9-5'4, because they called me fat even though I have size 0-2 in shirts, sweatshirts, etc. and 6-8 (sometimes 4) in skirts, jeans, etc.

There is to me a difference in being plus sized vs Morbid obesity. Plus sized is now a misused word.
Plus sized refers to clothing sizes. Morbidly obese refers to weight for height. So yes, there is a difference and this video only refers to clothing and it's sizes.
wow. so if youre over a certain size you have to go into a shop and be constantly reminded of your weight but picking up a top that is labelled as "for morbidly obese people". people come in all shapes and sizes and big people exist. they should be able to have the same clothes as everyone else. plus size refers to people that do not fit in conventional sizes stocked at most stores. that doesnt mean that the bigger you are, the more harsh and hurtful labels should be. you wouldnt say that abiut someone too skinny. "theyre not skinny, theyre anorexic". dont insult people based on their size

You don't wash sweaters... dry clean then once in a while.... you wear undershirts and other under drawers and wash those regularly to keep the life of your over clothes lengthy.

Anna Petite simply means you’re shorter than average (below 5’4 I think) meaning shorter arms and shorter legs, usually narrow shoulders etc, it doesn’t necessarily mean skinny, though many petite girls _are_ skinny. But in conclusion, you. can be petite and fat.

okay, embracing your body is all good and that. But a lot of these ladies are just unhealthy with the bodyfat they are carrying. You don't need to crash diet ladies, count your calories and drop your maintenance by just a few hundred calories every 3 weeks or so. Oh and jog a bit.
