@Lionn aries is a great performer. plus I've always liked smaller shows bit he's definitely outgrown the smaller venues. 1000 is plenty. you should try to go to a small hardcore show if you get the chance. the music isnt for everyone of course but the shows are a great experience

The low mids are always a challenge for Aries as he hasn't figured out the heart and soul of a track is in those frequencies. I love Aries but I've been doing this for 10+ years and I'm saying this as a mixing and mastering engineer

The track is not overproduced , it's just not mixed that well , I feel like Aries has a problem with proper gain staging and is probably not doing top down mixing which I highly recommend. He went for a wide mix and in the process completely lost the depth thus making his mix sound too pointy and plastic. I can feel that they cut 16khz and above in the master to not have the mix too bright but in my opinion they should have just boosted 100hz more to get it more big and massive as I feel it's lacking those frequencies. Aries probably cut his vocals up to 120-140hz that's why his vocals are very small sounding. Cheers
