    This video will show you how to install new tires on your Sur Ron. This video also shows Sur Ron inner tube sizes and options. Shinko 244 sites for the Sur Ron are a pretty good choice but I also want to try out the stink 241 tires on Sur Ron. This text is clearly to help google understand what this video is about :). Hope this helps you!

    Flat out works for Nails and shards of metal that may embed themselves into the tire. It’s the best tire sealant Period.

    Flat Out is the best. It pushed out the slime that I had in the tube and sealed the leak caused by a 5” nail. It punctured the tube on both sides and it sealed. I won’t ever ride my ebike without Flat Out ever again.

    Having Slime in your tube would have most likely stopped that leak. It works great for small punctures.

    I have been using the 3.5 241 on the rare and it’s really suitable for street is a bit heavy and slows the bike a little (wouldn’t be an issue on 72v on the road but could be problematic for trails) but it works really well on the street have to shave the tyre to make it fit so it doesn’t rub against the chain and fits fine

      My tubes for my 241 are much lighter than yours and work just fine dunno what brand they are tho

    Heavy duty tubes are a must have in my opinion. Adding weight to the bike doesn't affect range as much as you might think due to it being rolling weight. It's not a 1:1 ratio between the weight and energy needed as it might be if you were lifting a dead weight. Not to mention the fact that added weight helps your momentum on the downhills. Just food for thought. I've actually noticed the biggest gain in range by changing the chain. The stock o-ring chain has so much resistance on the motor. Second best would be the larger sprocket.

      @JuicedJoyrides  Рік тому +1

      Totally agree on chain and sprocket, actually made a video on it. I recently switched from 54t and non oring chain back to stock chain and sprocket for fun just to switch it up and have noticed a big decrease in range and also lower top speed. 58t and new chain arriving tomorrow.

    I wonder if the heavier tube really helps, because the tire rubber is already thick and tough. If a goat head goes through the tire it will go through the tube. ??

    Tire inserts.
    Start carving up pool noodles, stuff your tires, even if they go flat you'll still be able to limp it home without damaging your rims.
