These videos are really amazing and very thanks to share us. I was born Western Tibet but i have never been Everest Bese Camp as you both did. I understand on Jorden that she was Altitude sick cause Tibet is third pole. Well, i am very glad to watch your tour Tibet when i miss my home land.
I'm from the northeast and ski out west every few years and it still amazes me when I approach a mountain range from absolutely level ground. How the elevation just abruptly changes and how massive it is in real life . It's just amazing. I've never seen this place though. That was really cool.
Thank both of you for sharing your difficult and uncomfortable journeys. I pray for both of you all the time. I myself will never be able to go to this remote Chinese place. To see how some Chinese live in such condition is really an eye opener. Poor Jordan, I am so sorry for her. Boy, Poppy has good health ! Thank both of you again !
I am really sorry to say you that you have never known our Tibetan history and our native people. Don´t say Chinese place and Chinese. Those placese are Tibet and Tibetan pleple as well and i didn´t see any Chinese people when i was waching her videos.
Nice vid. I was there 20 years ago and not much seems to have changed. One thing I had was on coming down from altitude, my teeth were ringing for a day or so. Not unusual apparently. No road when I went to EBC. Hours of bumping on off road tracks! Also got a few miles on from this point, where the actual base camp proper is situated. Poor little lass who got sick! My heart bled for her! Hope she recovered to enjoy the rest of her trip. Altitude can be a killer - seriously - and the key thing is that she, while obviously very poorly, did not get the pulmonary seepage that can be fatal. We don't get time to acclimatise properly on these trips (I was in Lhasa for just three days before heading out on the Friendship route) and can pay a heavy price for our our haste!
You are so professional which to me means you have some serious skills because you really do produce quality videos and it shows in each new video. Your videos show how you have kept working to really hone your craft...and its amazing how you capture such awesome scenes, you must put a lot of thought into how these shots will impact your audience because you present awe inspiring video all the time...some breath taking moments. Who knew the world has so much beauty...and you bring it to us week after week. Thank You! The most awesome thing I see is who you are as a person. You are a survivor and an overcomer and very smart. It shows in how you tackle so many obstacles, and still find a way through. You have taken on more of a challenge than any other college student could have by throwing yourself into such adverse and unknown settings and some how mastering your environment. You are quite a girl...keep up the excellent work!
Really amazing place, beautiful and so natural .. untouched by technology.. peaceful place .. Both of you must be really proud be able to see Everest so closed ... Really appreciate for your effort to bring this view to all of us ... 🙏. Amazing video and thank you .. can't wait for next video
What grows there? Potatoes and buckwheat? Traditionally, Tibet used to trade with Kathmandu valley for their supplies in the middle age, which has very fertile soil... Also, Nepali coin "MahendraMalli" used to be their currency from 16-18th century, until they became the protectorate of Qing Dynasty in 1720.. Songsten Gampo married Nepali princess Bhrikuti in 7th century, which helped Buddhism flourish in Tibet.. Nepal is the only country that still has Consulate in Tibet, bcz of our very old relationship.
Tibetan buddhism didn't flourish from Nepal. Its actually from India. To married with Nepalese princess was to keep harmony between the countries and Nepal is mainly a hindu country. Whole part of Tibet isn't deserted like this lol. Crops still grows if not ppl won't survive and live there. Historically Tibet and Nepal had very old relationship but as of now and in the recent years this historical relationship is no where to be experienced as China is gradually taking over nepal economically and politically meanwhile attacking Tibetans travellers between nepal and Tibet.
@@Kim-m2z How exactly it flourished from India, evidence? Tibet used to trade and have relationship with Kathmandu valley, and you know what the indigenous people of valley, Newars, are both Hindu and Buddhists - whilst not even 0.00000001% people are Buddhist in mainland India.. Many of the Nepalese tribes like Gurung, Magar, Tamang, Newar, Rai, Limbu, etc are Buddhists and Nepal was predominantly a Buddhist country -- until Hindu Khas Aryan came from Western Nepal uniting and merging the modern day Nepal.
@@Kim-m2z In our mountain areas of country, nothing grows much except potato, buckwheat and few other crops cuz of the harsh, rocky and infertile terrain.. So people mostly depend on meat there like yak meat, mountain goat, etc -- or things are supplied through helicopters, mule or other modes.

You went! 💓 Such a different experience from the Nepal side. Poor Jordan! Driving got you there way too fast, no time to acclimate. 17,000+ feet is no joke. Nepal's Khumbu Valley is only accessible by chopper or one of the world's sketchiest landing strips. But the 2 week long hike gave us time to adjust. Even so, one of the younger Sherpa had to be stretchered down to a lower altitude to recover. 👍👍 to you both!
It's really amazing to see you.... This is really gonna help us to prepare mentally and physically... Enjoy our trip there.. Thank you for giving us so much exitment and beautiful scene,😘😘😍😍😎

Normally we Eastern Chinese go Tibet by train, even long hours, but a good buffer way for our body to fit the high altitudes, and left by airplane.
