The 254 Euro starting price (207 for the backpack !!!) becomes 307,50 with your 10% discount and shipping (to Italy). I don't doubt the bag's quality at all, but it just makes no sense TO ME to spend this much on a tennis bag, considering I'm neither a coach or an athlete, so MY needs - as far tennis bags go - can be easily covered with any 90ish€ standard 6x tennis racket brand bag. It's as if I bought a Prada tux just to go to the farmers' market. Thanks for sharing your review, though, it looks pretty honest and certainly informed and competent. (btw, I quite like the stone-grey/lava color)
V2 user here, I backed the bag on Kickstarter when it launched and have no regrets at all. I stuff my bag to the fullest and have always used the hooks to latch them onto the wires. Initially I was worried the bag might tear, but it is holding up great. I do agree with you on the colour though, the black looks the best. Apart from the hefty price , it is an all around great bag, better than other branded tennis bags.
Fantastic bag and review Ashley! Very well thought out in design, and love the drinks/ sausage roll cooler!!😂 The hanging clips are a simple but great idea, along with the split racket compartments. Alas a little pricey to justify a purchase at the moment! I’ll have to pimp up my black Wilson bag with some hanging clips, and my sausage rolls will remain crushed! 😒😬
I have the Backpack version and love it! Have you seend/tried the backpack? Also, doesn't the Saber supercede the tennis pointer? Why have the tennis pointer in addition to the Saber?
Hey, yes, you’ll see it at the end of the video… I love it! And for the Saber, yes it does but some of my players still love the challenge that the pointer brings (definitely doesn’t feel as good as the Saber though!)
While it does make more sense to have the flat part of the bag against your back, it gets your clothes dirty as it’s the bottom of the bag. Question about size: is it the same size as traditional x9 bags?
You’re right, if you lay it on the floor (I don’t) but if you do you can switch the straps to the other side (I saw Jonas from TennisNerd does that. The dimensions are 30” x 14” x 12” (very similar in size to the Babolat Pure Aero Rafa 6pk)
This is the 3rd video by a tennis youtuber. All are sponsored by ADV with the 10% discount code. I wonder if I could order the midnight black version from tennis warehouse?
@TheTennisMentor exactly! The thing is, I just changed my old Youtek Head bag after 10 years, and I was looking at this bag too till I found the 2022 Djokovic 12R Monstercombi Speed bag for £80. I still think this is the better bag but not 2,5 times better than a limited edition Head bag that also have some great features!
Bleeping Pickeball sent me

Thanks for sharing your thoughts… great to hear that the V2 is standing the test of time!
Thanks for your review Ashley!
I love this bag it makes it easier for use on the court well thought out design ...
This might be my fav video you have ever done. I am very anul about bags and pockets and storage. Thank you
Nice to meet another ‘Organisation Nerd’ like me 😁
@@TheTennisMentor Another thing I get very specific about are Zips. A zip has just broken on my RF Wilson bag which is where I keep keys, phone, etc
If a bag brand has to choose where they spend their money, it should be on good zippers!
So guess what colour I got. I am almost tempted to come down to Havant to have a lesson with just to walk on court with my midnight bag 🎉
@@ashleyagar1924 not jealous at all! 😉
Love these kinds of vids
Pleased to be of service!
These bags are superb. Expensive but the quality is so much better than standard tennis bags. The fence hooks are a killer feature IMO!
Yes… You get what you pay for imo. It’s in the details!
Thanks Ashley for doing this video I loved it great to see what you pack
I know you were ready for this one Sam!
@@TheTennisMentor yeah thank really appreciate it thanks
Lovey looking bag, really well thought out, but £300 all in seems too lumpy for the average club player.

Just filmed a weekly conversation for IG and my question is about mid match snacks… you need to jump into the convo with SAUSAGE ROLLS 😂😂
@@TheTennisMentorI do have bananas and nut’s as well!!😂
Well I ordered the bag so looking forward to seeing it 🙂
You’re going to love it! Which colour did you go for?
Amazing video! Do you guys think this could actually fit as a "Personal Item" on a Domestic/International flight?
I was excited about this bag until I saw the RRP 😅
I’m saving this to watch later. It BETTER not be clickbait! You know the search for me is real! It’s been 40 years I’ve hunted!
You won’t be disappointed… there’s a pocket for your touchtennis rackets too 😉

Look great and all but that price point is just too much.

Hi there, do you offer lessons?
80 euros shipping cost to Europe?

FYI code isn't working
Thanks for flagging… the code is TTM10 😊
Some killer features right but way too expensive for a 'noname' bag!
I guess some go for the features, others go for the name… and that’s ok!😊
