Once before, those two have chased me clear past the jailers - while my health was shooting down before my eyes - to the small bridge at profaned capital by the gargoyle, and the camera was going crazy the whole time because they kept getting close to me. Still made it out alive though.
U can run past all the jailers to the cell door with the crucified monster in there and open it. It will kill all the jailers. Alternatively they can be killed with any bow by staggering them with headshots. Their aggro range is minimal.

@@paul81491 I just used the storyteller‘s staff to poison them all and got through on my first attempt. There are loads of ways to deal with them. They aren‘t necessarily fun though.

There’s a handy little skip if you have Silvercat Ring (or Spook). It’s easier than it looks (haven’t messed it up once and I suck).
