Hello mam, Is there any particular qualification for event planner???? Or I can start this business after doing short course...please give me a detailed information
I have a question and I’m not sure if it’s going to sound correctly or not but here it go😂. So I only know a little bit about event planner. So I want to start off as a assistant. What do I need to do to be a event assistant? Like do I need to get a degree first as a Event planner or do I need to fill out a Application and just hope I get picked. ( I hope that make since)
Hi Jazmine, I understand your question! So, I would say if you know you want to be an event planner then following through with a compatible degree is always a good idea if you want to go to school.
If you want to become an assistant while in school, I’d reach out to local planners and see if they’re hiring for paid or volunteer positions. Small event decorators are always in need of help. You don’t need to have a degree to get any of those positions at a smaller firm but any applicable experience or schooling never hurts in the eyes of an employer. Hope that helps! 😊

Hi sis, thanks so much for watching!! I would recommend going into hospitality for event planning or business if you want to run your own event planning business. You can get a BA in either of these areas. 💕💕
