Great message in this song! We can express our love in words, but we verify it in our deeds. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1John 3:18
I miss Chris West, think he was better more powerful bass singer, don't know what he's doing now. This whole line up has changed except for Daniel Riley, I miss the Old guys. Saw the new new line up Oct 2023 they were good but not the same as the old line up. God bless them all, it's a hard job.
In par with Arron MacClune...two of the best basses after Riley (and of the same caliber as Riley-- take the age factor in place n voice development). That being said, can you imagine their vocal sound when they reach full voice maturity within the scope of quartet singing? In my opinion, they will surpass Riley.
Gold City, you were absolutely wonderful and amazing tonight in Mesa, Az. New Life is grateful. We all love you and will continue praying God's blessings on your ministry.
Robbie Hagberg and Sue Hagberg I think you should be able to get it done before you leave me alone I can go to the store and get it done before you leave me and she has to be there in a few days so I can come up with her and let her out
Good night and sweet dreams to my sweet friend of God bless and the family is doing great things will happen in the family are doing pretty well good for the family are able to get out of the way to talk to my Lord
@@gabrielshupe8927 well I mean the guy definitely belongs in a quartet singing bass, but Riley's low notes are really quick and sharp, gives him a unique sound.
@@gabrielshupe8927 actually alot of top quality bass singers sound nearly identical. They're still amazing because a range that low is very rare. A distinct, characteristic bass voice like say Richard Sterban, or George Younce is a pretty rare thing. Tim Riley's sound is noticeably unique. I mean I'm glad you met the guy and all.. but you ain't gotta get all exclamation pointy ;).
@@gabrielshupe8927 I started singing bass in the FFA in 10th grade. But I'm really a baritone with a couple octaves under my belt. Ive been singin since then too. I agree, Chris West is incredibly talented. But I'd go out on a limb and say he'd be in pretty close agreement with me.... especially when it comes to Tim Riley. Dang drummers!! Ha

As JD Sumner once said “i dont see how someones made a living singing out of a nose like that” and thats how i feel about that 2nd tenor
Hahahaha def. unique.
Bass singer is a good fit. Sure must have some pressure on him filling some mighty big shoes. Good job son.
...if I was TR, my thought would be; " man, that young man is matching note for note but at a younger age than when I sang it".
This a good Gold City
whate is the name of youre bass singer?
i don't know of this is relevant anymore or not, but his name is Chris West
Yes it’s Chris West

Bass singer is great. Yeah, he had some big shoes to fill, but he’s doing a wonderful job.
Tim Riley frequently sang off-key.
It just ain't got the same "umph" without Tim Riley.
He’s bloody good though the new guy

Heck you can't throw a rock without hittin someone with a distinct tenor/lead voice.
Tim Riley Chris West is not.
There is no 2 bass singers alike! You just get close! It is a given talent that no 2 bass singers are never, ever alike!
JUST NOT GOLD CITY ANYMORE.
