God’s amazing word to me today is “repentance”. Thank you Jesus for walking by my side and teaching me the things that you want me to learn. Bless Your Holy Name O Heavenly Father. Amen
This man was a blessing and still is. Without him , I would have never understood. His teachings explained the will of god to me and my family. I always point people to him if they want to know about God. Always.
May the soul of pastor Derek Prince rest in peace. I have always struggled with necessity of being baptized with water because of the followings verse : Matthew 3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worth to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire." Here clearly the water is omitted.
Acts 16:30-31 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.
Thank you so much for preaching the word so powerfully without bending it. Thank you for this truth. I would encourage you to please REBUKE those who are preaching another gospel from the Devil.
Well repentance just means to turn away from old ways essentially so not sure what all the fuss is over regarding this word. We create non essential dogma over a single word that can be stated many ways!

Many of them do this never telling them to repent.. how can anyone be holy without obedience and repentance.. but to repent you have to come to the end of self ( yourself ) this is important we all know when many knows when they do wrong and some don’t .. but when you do even if you do it not on purpose because of lust of whatever please say sorry but be remorseful from the heart
Love your message but have one question... if a person repents without water baptism, is he or she still saved? I know so... what of people accepting Jesus on their death beds, or the thief on the cross beside our Lord who told him, after he repented and acknowledged Jesus as the savior, "Today you will be with me in paradise..." ? There is no time for the water baptism... Thankyou and God's continued Blessings for your ministry.
How can we encourage one to repent if they don't "believe" they need to or believe Jesus died on the cross for thier sin so that they may not perish? I know it only takes a small act of faith so come to the lord with an open heart, but sometimes it takes something big that brings you to your knees. I guess that's why God uses things like COVID and allows the enemy to take control in certain times only to show us our need for Him. For me I did believe in a higher power, God, Jesus, sure why not? And prayed, recited random salvation prayer in church without knowing if I truely meant what I was saying or even the meaning behing what I was saying and was never truely made and felt new until I repented with my whole heart by myself, no distractions, and couldn't even get through whole prayer without weeping like I've never wept before. And it was only then that I was on fire for Jesus and had the hunger for the knowlege found in the Word. So I know first hand the Truth of this statement, I just feel so many are walking around without true repentance on their heart and think they have nothing to worry about. This is why we have to pray, pray and pray for those that we know need to repent and those that may be lost. Pray for God to move in their lives however he deems best to move them to repentance in Jesus name, Amen. ❤
I've come to realize that our God doesn't seem to come to us until we cry out to Him. You can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink...All through the Old Testament that's the pattern. He is the God that hears our cry of need for help and He will answer. Once we are in that humbled state on our knees admitting our sinfulness to Him, we are asking for forgiveness and acknowledging our sin is the first step. He will intercede in our lives to remove stumbling blocks so we can change our ways and if in truth we truly have a repentful heart we will receive the Holy Spirit in lieu of animal sacrifices and be given the power of the Spirit to stop sinning and serve the Kingdom as a disciple. He is faithful to us if we are faithful obeying and loving Him and that's when the relationship really begins. Most love their sin more than Jesus though. :( (i.e. living for themselves, materialism, money, pleasures of flesh and this world, vanity, gluttony, gossip, etc.)

Just a clarification on the baptism part. What about people who die after receiving Jesus as their saviour through repentance and faith but before they baptize. Or in places where people can't openly baptize due to prosecution, though they truly believe Jesus is the living God. In no way am I denying the importance of baptism here.
Yea I was saved when I was high on drugs and know the exact moment when the spirit of GOD entered and was years after before I was baptized but I was saved. Now I can see this when there is a preacher and calls people to accept and be baptized at the same time.
@@koraegis the thief on the cross would be compared to a prison inmate, someone in hospice, etc.. I agree with Repentance and that also we must preach Repentance in the Biblical order but how can someone repent with out faith? When someone repents and comes to Christ does it in Faith. It's almost synonymous. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Heb 11:6 Faith in Christ is what holds. everything.
To get to the point of even thinking of repentance and then faith, we have to be convicted of the facts of our sin. If we accept this conviction and not ignore it, we then can realise our need for repentance, which is a gift from God. Then our faith is ignited.
@@randilund2558 You will never repent until God shows you how spiritually wretched you are in comparison to His perfect Holiness. The only people that repent are those convicted by the Spirit of God for their sin.

John The Baptist addressed his words of repentance and baptism to Israel (John 1:31). Jesus Christ did the same. He spoke his words to fellow Jews not Gentiles. Jesus said, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 15:24). Peter and the Twelve continued Jesus Christ’s message to Israel (Acts 2:38). When addressing “ye men of Israel,” Peter on the Day of Pentecost called for them to repent and be (water) baptized…for the remission of sins. These words of repentance from Jesus are not for The Church, The Body Of Christ. Remission of sins today in this dispensation of the grace of God (Ephesians 3:2) comes from Christ’s shed blood. Paul is our example on how to follow Jesus Christ (l Corinthians 11:1). Paul was divinely appointed by our ascended Lord Jesus in glory. Paul was given the new message of the Gospel of the Grace of God which presents salvation by God’s grace through Jesus Christ’s finished work of the cross, His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation by Grace through Faith without works like repentance or water baptism (Ephesians 2:8-9). Christ did everything a person needs done to be saved. We are to believe what HE DID and rest in HIS finished work.
Sorry, I meant to say that repentance comes AFTER faith, not before. The unregenerate person needs to first hear the Gospel message and then believe the Gospel message to receive the Holy Spirit and then they can repent (change their mind) and live for God. Israel already knew God and this is why they were required to repent. In Paul's message for the Church, faith precedes repentance. God bless
@@Will-nb8qk . . I guess it just depends on how each person interprets the word repentance (3340) Metanoeo? I believe it means a true change of heart towards God. So then, before one can have a change of heart towards God, should they not first "believe" in God? When Abraham believed in the Lord in (Gen. 15: 6), the Lord counted (registered) Abraham's faith as righteousness (Rom. 4: 3). Then Abraham was able to follow, have a change of heart toward God. When Paul and Silas told the Philippian jailer to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, he wasn't telling him to have a change of heart (repent) and then believe, but rather for him to simply believe (place his trust in) the Only Savior. Why is it that no form of the word repent can be found in the Gospel of John? Matthew presented Jesus as King. Mark presented Him as Servant. Luke presented Him as Man and John presented Jesus as God. Perhaps it was so people would simply "believe" He was God. Blessings!

@@DerekPrinceWithSubtitles but isn't water baptism a work. Are we not suppose to be baptized in the Holy Spirit as it says many times call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved?
Christ was not yet ascended, and had the power to forgive sins. after He ascended The Holy Ghost directed the apostles giving them the instructions. - Acts 2:38
@@chrisspencer8815 It's not so much a work. Rather an act of obedience. Baptism is an essential part of our new birth. One of the meanings of baptism is that we are buried with Christ. After the old man dies, we wouldn't want to leave this dead 'corpse' - as Derek points out - lying around. Baptism is burying this corpse.
@@DerekPrinceWithSubtitles yes but many don't believe we need water baptism but that Christ fufilled that work for us and through our faith and trust in him we are baptized in the Holy Spirit. As it says call upon the name of the Lord and he shall be saved and does not speak of water baptism in many of these verses. People accept Jesus on death bed and surely are not water baptized
The Holy Spirit is often referred to as living water. Although I was baptized I do not believe that water baptism is necessary for salvation. I believe what He meant was being baptized in the Holy Spirit which is the washing and regeneration of a believer. The Jews required works and signs to believe. One reference to this is when the Lord was on the cross and because the man next to Him had faith, Jesus told him, “ Today you will be with me paradise.” I could be wrong, Lord forgive me if I am. I’m always open to correction.
You are right. Being born of water and the Spirit, is NOT a reference to water baptism. “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" (John 3:5). Jesus was saying that for a person to inherit heaven, he must be born of a woman (water) and born-again of the Spirit. This was because Nicodemus asked: “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” (John 3:4). Why did he ask Jesus this? It was because Jesus was speaking in parables and told him that he must be born-again. If you tell an unbeliever that he must be born-again to enter heaven: he will either think you are a brainwashed, religious buffoon or he will be confused and think you are referring to entering his mother's womb again. This was the confused reaction Nicodemus had in response to Jesus' parable. He did not think that Jesus was a brainwashed, religious buffoon because, in John 3:2, he acknowledged Jesus as a "Rabbi" and said: "we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus then clarified the parable by speaking plainly to Nicodemus, with the next verse. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). Jesus didn't speak of flesh at all until Nicodemus asked if he can enter his mother's womb a second time. He was clarifying to Nicodemus that being born of water meant being born of flesh. Being born of water is a reference to natural birth. "Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit” (John 3:7-8). Jesus tells Nicodemus to not be surprised that being born-again is different to being born of water (natural birth). He then explains that flesh can be seen and spirits cannot, so being born-again of the Spirit is different. Jesus tells him that he sees flesh when it comes and goes but does not see spirits when it comes and goes; inasmuch as no one sees the wind when it comes and goes, so does no one see a spirit when it comes and goes. It is a simile used by Jesus to emphasise the nature of spirits. It's similar to when God asked satan, in Job, where he came from and satan replied "from going to and fro in the earth." Satan is a spirit who moves like the wind on the earth, to and fro without being seeing. When he afflicts you or troubles your family, does anyone see him while he does it? This is what Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus when he didn't understand the nature of unseen spirits and was confused at being born-again. Water baptism isn't a requirement for salvation and Jesus never mandated it. It is good to have it because Jesus did. I was water baptised at 9 years old, but backslid horribly and was a porn, masturbating, gambling and gaming addict for 15 years. It was only 6 months ago that I was saved and God filled me with the Holy Spirit. I did not receive the Holy Spirit when I was water baptised at 9 years old. It is only trusting in the shed blood, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus alone that saves us. There is only one stage to salvation and that is through the belief of Christ alone. Period.
@@DarlyntonO I never thought of it as spirits, when the Lord was talking about the wind, I like that. The Hebrew word ruach means, breath, spirit or wind, something I probably should have thought of sooner when thinking about that verse. I have to say for someone as bold as u are to say that they were addicted to various things and then to have great insight like that is quite amazing. God is surely with u greatly. Thank u for sharing that.
Well I may be wrong but I thought about this situation where JESUS tells the thief next to him "Today you will be with me in Paradise". Could it be that JESUS FORGAVE the thief of his SIN'S right there and then BECAUSE (THE SON OF MAN) JESUS had the AUTHORITY to FORGIVE SIN.( Matthew 9:6 ) (Mark 2:10) Christians should be baptized out of OBEDIENCE to and LOVE for our LORD JESUS .(JOHN 14:15) Water Baptism by immersion is the biblical method of Baptism because of its Symbolic representation of the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Christ.
John the Baptist was telling people to BELIEVE when he said REPENT ie Turn from UNBELIEF to BELIEF. God repented more than anyone in the bible. There are actually 4 types of repentance in the bible so knowing when to correctly apply each of them is key. Repentance from Unbelief to Belief is the most important yet most misunderstood. When the bible is often referring to repentance in the NT it is often from Unbelief to Belief - but sadly men add “of sin” to the word even though “repent of sin” is not found once in the KJV. In the verse below we are clearly told what repentance means. We are told that John the Baptist was telling people to BELIEVE when he said REPENT ie Turn from UNBELIEF to BELIEF. Acts 19:4 (KJV) - Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of REPENTANCE, saying unto the people, that they should BELIEVE on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. John the Baptist was telling them to “turn from unbelief to belief”. God tells us in Jonah that “turning from sin” is WORKS (something we do). Salvation is a FREE gift and our works cannot save us. God repents in the very same verse and he did that intentionally to help us not be confused about the meaning of repentance. Jonah 3:10 And God saw their WORKS, that THEY TURNED from their EVIL WAY; and God REPENTED of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

the reason why he said after acts is because Jesus was present until before acts. after Jesus left, thoses 3000 people were the first to be baptised. yes, water baptism is essential, but when the Lord of lords grants you a pass, who is to stop it! the most important aspect for the Christian is to repent from his ways and turn towards God and in the case of the thieve we can see that happening. water baptism is just a sign that we have repented.
Mary P: acts of man are always trumped by the will of God. Does God need man or man need God? The repentance comes from the Holy Spirit acting on a person's heart (because it's God's will that none should perish but come unto salvation). Baptism is an outward show of faith and a public declaration of being joined together with Jesus in death, burial and resurrection. Man's acts (baptism) do not bring salvation. Faith and trust bring a baptism of the Holy Spirit which is solely a gift from God. The thief was not baptized but was promised "to be in paradise". Many old testament saints were not baptized but are now with God in Heaven, (Moses & Elijah). The new testament converts in Acts received the Holy Spirit without being baptized. Do not elevate the workings of man with entry into heaven. It is a gift from your Father God only!
I’m sorry Pastor but, the thief on the cross was not baptized when he asked God for forgiveness. He was right next to Jesus and Jesus said “this day you shall be with me in paradise”
That was before the Holy Spirit was on this earth and the new law took effect. With that, He is the Living Water...I received the holy spirit on my bed in tears after months of repenting and crying out. I may not have been dipped by someone else in water but between my tears and on my knees in the shower crying out last March I am baptized because He is with me now, tongues and all.
None of us will never be in the position of the dying thief, because we are all after the complete Work of the Cross and Pentecost!!! So to bring up the dying thief is irrelevant and shows how unlearned we are.
You are misunderstanding what happened back then. Right there this show you need to Repent and turn away from those wrong idea about this. And be humble before God and ask Him to Correct you. Shalom 🙏❤️
Now let's tell you a story about a man named Jesus: A god assaulted, by proxy, inseminated a 'virgin' named Mary, in order to bring his son incarnate into our world. A cowardly action... Mary and her fiance?, ....Joseph, had to travel to Bethlehem to register for the census. There Mary gave birth to a son of a god.? God put a star in the sky to guide people to the baby? In a dream God told Joseph to take his family to Egypt. Then this God stood by and watched as Herod killed thousands and thousands of babies in Israel in an attempt to kill Jesus. (wow!) As a man, God's son claimed that he was God incarnate: "I am the way, the truth and the life," he said. This man performed many 'miracles'. He healed lots of sick people. He turned water into wine. These miracles prove that he is God? Miracles?? But he was eventually given the death sentence and killed by crucifixion. His body was placed in a tomb. But three days later, the tomb was empty. And the man, alive once again but still with his wounds (so anyone who doubted could see them and touch them), appeared to many people in many places. Then he ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of his god the father almighty, never to be seen again. Today you can have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. You can pray to this man and he will answer your prayers. He will cure your diseases, rescue you from emergencies, help you make important business and family decisions, comfort you in times of worry and grief, etc. This man will also give you eternal life, and if you are good he has a place for you in heaven after you die. The reason we know all this is because, after the man died, four people named Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote accounts of the man's life. Their written attestations are proof of the veracity of this story. This is the story of a Jesus. "" Do you believe this story? You are Delusional !!~! *However any debate on this is useless - since a god needs to be proven - First. However, .... any debate on this is useless, since a god needs to be proven - First. FIRST !!!
@@MSHOOD123 That ridiculous idea of haha praying does not prove a god - It just creates idiots with more delusions!! To repeat this trash talk - after being told to prove a god - and you spew this nonsense - makes you a known liar - and if you rant this rubbish to children - It is Child Abuse!!
@@MSHOOD123 NO! you are suiting yourself with these lies of gods.. You know that all you have are parroted lies... You don't get off with that cowardly rubbish...
God told Mary through an angel that she would be the mother of Jesus and she felt blessed and overjoyed. She was not assaulted. As for Herod, this was satan's doing, but in any case all the babies he killed were instantly in Heaven with the Father. If you believe and are filled with the Holy Spirit, you know it. You know God is real and Jesus is who He said He was. The shroud of Turin is genuine, look on shroud.com, and bears evidence of the resurrection. There were over 500 witnesses to the resurrected Jesus. Even secular historical writers admit He was real. Faith isn't something you can convince people of. Only those who are called can become born again. God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. So you will never understand unless you drop the pride and seek God with a contrite and humble heart. He will reveal Himself to those who are earnest. Until then, mocking and scoffing at spirit-filled believers simply fulfills biblicical prophecy. We are all eternal, its just down to where you spend your eternity. Heaven or hell. Jesus or the devil. God or the world and your sin. The fact that He loved us so much that He would go through torture, mocking and humiliation and an agonising death for us, tells us the depth of His love and mercy. Reject Him if you wish. But you will spend eternity in hell being painfully tortured by demons that hate you and swimming in the lake of fire whilst your spiritual flesh burns off over and over again. Separated from God, who is love and everything that's good, feeling pain, terror, loss, hopelessness and everything that's bad instead. Watch a, few hell NDE videos to get the picture.

I have always struggled with necessity of being baptized with water because of the followings verse :
Matthew 3:11
"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worth to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire."
Here clearly the water is omitted.
yet these days its not unusual to hear ministers say repentance is Not necessary for salvation, they must be serving the deceiver not God.

He is right!
Repentance is the key word that many misinterpret. Look up biblical meaning of repentance!

The thief on the cross was not baptized. He believed. 😀
@@koraegis the thief on the cross would be compared to a prison inmate, someone in hospice, etc.. I believe GOD put that there for a reason, basically letting us know if we can (are physically able and in a place where it can be done) we NEED to as it is symbolic to us being buried with CHRIST and rising with HIM.
However if we can't HE TRULY knows our heart towards the mater but typically there is opportunity for baptism
Hope this helps. Be encouraged!

John 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire..
Heb 11:6
Faith in Christ is what holds. everything.
To get to the point of even thinking of repentance and then faith, we have to be convicted of the facts of our sin. If we accept this conviction and not ignore it, we then can realise our need for repentance, which is a gift from God. Then our faith is ignited.

but why Repentance?
God bless
faith and repentance go together, everybody just misconstrues what the biblical context of what “repentance” means!

What about the theif on the cross?
Hi Chris, the thief on the cross was an exception. Fortunately God makes exceptions like this. He wasn't baptizes either for example. But still, it's an exception. Let's just obey God by preaching repentance of sin and baptism and leave the exceptions to Him.
He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”
(John 3:4).
He did not think that Jesus was a brainwashed, religious buffoon because, in John 3:2, he acknowledged Jesus as a "Rabbi" and said: "we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
Jesus then clarified the parable by speaking plainly to Nicodemus, with the next verse.
"Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit”
(John 3:7-8).

Jonah 3:10
And God saw their WORKS, that THEY TURNED from their EVIL WAY; and God REPENTED of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
How about the thieve on the cross with Jesus???? He never was Baptist
Pastor said from Acts onwards. the thieve comes before Acts.
@@suhaastsunduru887 What you say makes absolutely no sense. So because he came before acts he didn't need baptism but after acts, he must be baptised???
the reason why he said after acts is because Jesus was present until before acts. after Jesus left, thoses 3000 people were the first to be baptised.
yes, water baptism is essential, but when the Lord of lords grants you a pass, who is to stop it!
the most important aspect for the Christian is to repent from his ways and turn towards God and in the case of the thieve we can see that happening. water baptism is just a sign that we have repented.

Now let's tell you a story about a man named Jesus:
A god assaulted, by proxy,
inseminated a 'virgin' named Mary, in order to bring his son incarnate into our world.
A cowardly action...
Mary and her fiance?,
....Joseph, had to travel to Bethlehem to register for the census.
(wow!)
As a man, God's son claimed that he was God incarnate: "I am the way, the truth and the life," he said.
Do you believe this story?
