Mercs?! ZX Spectrum 128k © 1991 US Gold

OK, as a practical joke, this game would sort of work if someone at least checked the code before publishing this piece of rubbish... I have spent only a few minutes with the flop and have found a couple of huge bugs: random death for no reason, second player cannot join the game again once he loses a life, players can get stuck behind objects locking the whole scrolling thus game... for random death see the 3rd stage (3:28) - the 2nd player suddenly dies for no reason - he has nearly full energy and no contact with anything - this was the last straw that made me abort the gameplay afterwards... I did not bother putting a loading screen or a music into this video since they did not bother with the actual game either... another epic mega fail for US Gold and their Capcom super mega conversions... In 1985 Spectrum got an excellent extremely playable Commando conversion and 6 years later we are really moving right along...
