Thiank you. This looks like the MIdea Cube Smart Dehumidifer but with wheels. The wheels is what the Midea was missing because it is so heavy to lift and emply.
My 50 pt Midea cube came with the casters. They were in a small box that was taped to packing material underneath the unit.

I have a 35 pint midea that cane with wheels too.
They discontinued the wheels due to tipping risk
You did a great job with the review really thoroughly explained everything. This is the same as Midea unit that actually makes this. I did want to ask does the fan cycle off after it reaches the humidity set the for in the room?

The filter seemed harder to remove than when I first got the dehumidifier. Turns out, when I put my fingernail in the outer slot, it popped out with very little force. I love the smart app notice to clean it.
I have the Midea 20 pint on main level of house, a 50 pint with pump in the basement, satified so far. Think I might put a 20 pint in the upstairs hall to serve the 2nd level. As anyone had issues with Pohl Schmitt units? Really wondering if the $50 savings between the two brands is worth getting the Pohl Schmitt.
When it reaches the desired humidity set, does the compressor and fan shut off? Their other models have a fan that always runs.
Regarding the modes, if no light is on you are in manual mode.
This device is also sold by Midea as the cube and qlima as the D 720 cube. The Midea has it's own app, the qlima uses the smart life app, which I prefer as it allows for nice scripting etc.
The Qlima has 3 fan speeds. Not sure what the effect of fan speed is on the dehumification.....
Assuming this devices continues to work many years, I think this is absolute the best design. If you need more capacity, just buy a second!
Question! If you keep the drain plug in…. How and where does the water come out to fill the bucket????

Has anyone else unit failed just a bit after the warranty period? Mine and many others on home depot shows the same thing. 300 bucks e-waste just over a year. sad!

I understand this is the 20 pint. But it doesn’t come with wheels.
I was so close to buying it until the manufacturer said no caster’s (wheels).
This is a lesser version of the Midea Cube. Looks the same, but the internals are cheap.
The internals are the same, made by the same factory for different vendors
@@naumstojcevski8634 A company can opt for cheaper or higher quality components during assembly. A retired friend of mine used to work in Zhoushan for a company that manufactured aquarium pumps and though several models had the same shell, they had different motors, tubing, and wire grade. I bet if you disassembled both the Midea and the Pohl Schmitt, you may find that some components come from different companies.
@gunstargizmo If you have looked at the internals of a Midea Cube, would you be able to answer a question for me? A few amazon reviews state that there is no hardware/float sensor in the bucket to detect the fill level, and that the fill level is instead computed based on the amount of time the unit was run for. The reviews said their unit caused flooding because the fill level was reset to 0 in software after a power failure despite the bucket being close to full. If the reviews are wrong and there is indeed a hardware float sensor in the bucket, how is that information passed onto the unit from the bucket?
@@chetanreddy6424 The dehumidifier will remain off if power is disrupted. The bucket will have to be emptied and the unit restarted. There must be some sort of sensor because the unit won't run if the bucket is full.
