The adults of CGS flee in the face of Gjallarhorn's attack, using Mikazuki and the other children as decoys. Gathering the children who have been left behind, Orga decides to fight back against Gjallarhorn, and puts a certain plan into motion.

Crank knew that the pilot is a kid and even though he has the chance to beat Mika, he didn't do it because he don't kill kids
Although I do think Crank held back at first, in their 1 on 1 reatch he lost on normal terms without outside factors.
Idk… Can you really consider a fight between a Gundam and a regular Mobile Suit to be "normal terms" 😅? It'd be like pitting a sumo against a boxer or a UFC fighter 😝. The sumo will always win because they literally train themselves to tank hits and be immovable. Boxing and UFC is all about knocking down your opponent first so it's a terrible matchup for them. Same thing for Mobile Suits into Gundams 👀.
@@louisrobitaille5810nah more like pitting 2 fighters from different weighclasses. Featherweight vs heavyweight. Although crank may have been a veteran and could probably beat mika in a fair fight. Barbatos just simply outclasses crank's mobile suit.
I would place this at 1st place as "the most realistic interpretation of a mobile suit gundam". The suits don't really fire lasers, they also don't fly or transform into planes, since much of there ground fight scenes show them hovering. And most of their inner frames are exposed to let the machine move freely. And they also run on fuel, which makes sense. IDK about the interfacing thingy, but yeah I would rank this at 1st when it comes to realism. My second choice would be Gundam Seed.
i mean, having a direct link to the huge robot helps a lot to control it i guess, even in witch from mercury use a similar system but through nanomachines in their bodies instead of a cable connected to the spinal cord.

This is one of my favourite Gundam series, Barbatos and Mika are a deadly combination

Not really. Mika lost counsciousness soon after "decapitating" Ein due to the heavy load on his brain. If that hadn't happened AND the thrusters had been refilled, then maybe things would've changed.
