Malkhan Singh Story: This is the story of Indian Air Force soldier Malkhan Singh, whose body was received by his family members after about 56 years of his death. A plane carrying 102 soldiers met with an accident on 7 February 1968 and went missing. Malkhan Singh, then 23 years old, was also aboard the same plane. Later this missing aircraft could be traced near Rohtang Pass in Himachal Pradesh. Now, 56 years after that accident, the body of Malkhan Singh has been found near Rohtang Pass. The body was identified on the basis of batch numbers. However, now that Malkhan Singh has been cremated after 56 years, neither his wife, nor son, nor parents were alive. ये कहानी भारतीय वायुसेना के जवान मलखान सिंह की है, जिनका शव करीब 56 साल बाद उनके घर वालों को मिला है। दरअसल, 102 सौनिकों को ले जा रहा एक विमान 7 फरवरी 1968 को हादसे का शिकार हो गया और लापता हो गया। इसी विमान में तब 23 साल के रहे मलखान सिंह भी सवार थे। बाद में इस लापता विमान को हिमाचल प्रदेश के रोहतांग दर्रे के पास खोजा जा सका। अब उस हादसे के 56 साल बाद मलखान सिंह का शव रोहतांग दर्रे के पास मिला है। शव को उनके बैच नंबर के आधार पर पहचाना जा सका। हालांकि, अब जबकि 56 साल बाद मलखान सिंह का अंतिम संस्कार किया गया है, तब न तो उनकी पत्नी जिंदा थी, न बेटा और न माता-पिता। ये कहानी उत्तर प्रदेश की है।
