Who wouldn’t enjoy a stroll with the lovely Nicki, Carlo and sweet Holly on a Wednesday afternoon? I love walking tiny narrow cobblestone streets. These views are stunning and so magical, I love your small talks with the local artists. Thank you for taking us along.

It just amazes me how this was all built! All those years ago before modern machinery they were able to build into the side of the mountains. It’s just mind blowing to me and the fact that the same buildings are still being used today. I love it!

I was walking with the three of you, that’s how good the filming was. When you walk down the winding stairs and I see the doors to shops and homes, I get curious “what’s behind those doors”. That’s the only way to describe it. Love the “authentic” interactions with the local artists and people that you and Carlo know. More please, where ever you decide to take us walking is ok with me 😊

What a fun 🤩 video!!! I really enjoyed seeing how Positano is put together. All of the doors you passed that are the entrances to other people’s lives and imagining what those lives might be like is fascinating! Yes, please!! I am always amazed how buildings are sandwiched together and the beautiful artistic touches of embellishment. I can no longer climb stairs so it is wonderful to do so vicariously through both of you. Thank you for sharing slices of your life and gorgeous Positano.

My fiancé and I just got back from the Amalfi Coast. We used Salerno as a base and took both ferries and buses to the various towns and loved Positano so much that we were there 3 times in the span of 4 days. We started and ended the walk you featured on this vlog at the same places but it seemed we took a much steeper route! (Taking the staircase to the left after going around the corner of Bar Internazionale.) We started watching your videos before our trip to know what to expect and now we will watch them to bring back all the wonderful memories. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into them!

Wow can’t believe this is the end of October and there are still many tourists! The hidden gems of Positano are definitely the long narrow stairs and alleyways that run through it. A resounding YES for more, little alleys and courtyards hidden from everyone but the locals. Forte abbraccio a Carlo, Holly e Niki.

Bravo Carlo for the song, he reminded me of my father when I was a little girl he would sing his Italian songs and it made me so happy! Thank you for taking us on your walk. We just came back from Calabria and the lovely small town we stayed in had so many hills, I loved how strong I felt after climbing them every day. We also felt humbled by the older folks who passed us up, forget Peloton, go to Italy!

Every week we devour your blogs, so the more blogs the better! Visiting Positano in 2009 was the best holiday we’ve ever had. We were utterly captivated by its unique charm. Every day we walked from the Hotel Reginella to the beachfront taking a different route each time. A highlight of our trip was boating to La Gavitella for lunch on Mother’s Day. My husband who is 84 can no longer walk so it’s all the more poignant. Thank you Nicky and Carlo. Julie and Roger, New Zealand.

When my daughter and I were in Positano in 2012, we took the stairs down to the beach from our hotel (and a taxi back up 😂). Delightful surprise. I love the late visitors and waning greenery, the grey washed colors and soft shadows from the sky. The artists have such a view there.
You could take the bus along the coast and record all the views without traffic hassle (and camera shake). Or even interview some locals for their perspectives and stories
And there is also a way to see the local fashions, pottery, painters and foods. I know you've done this before but I do think it's new every time, every season.

wow! This finally made it click for me how Escher got his inspiration from that area. They just dont build stuff like that here in the states. So many step options! I can also now see how people might feel lost, but I think the most mesmerizing part is all the little houses hidden behind each turn and nestled in nooks. Just magical. Carlo should sing more hahah. I loved the walk, I think any walk from high up to down at any beach is the most magical. It has the most excitement for those who never get to the beach, the climb down, the anticipation to see the ocean and all the glimpses you get. Another fun walk would be the winding walks to find the hidden gems tucked away and hard to find :)

Honestly, I love all your videos, but I still think my favorites are your hikes in the mountains above, showing us your gardens, and the local activities like olive harvest, wine-making, goat herding and cheese making, chestnut gathering, local history etc. Also the kayaking on the ocean. I adore those videos. More history and local crafts would be awesome too.

I esp love seeing the old windows and doors and even the roofs. The more rustic, the better. And also the color of the houses. The artists that I saw, they were fantastic. I would love to hear more of the artists in Positano... Oh, and I loved Carlo's singing. Perhaps a video on the musicians of the area and old songs. Are you sorry you asked now? LoL. I really enjoyed the wee alley ways, away from the main thoroughfares; loved the faded colours and the beautiful imaginative plantings around the houses - the plants on the chairs and available ledges and hanging spaces. The hidden beauty of a place is so much more appealing to me than the "main attractions" - the places where people live and work year round, not just a tourist show. Nice to see the artists at work - do any of them paint in the alleyways? Great video, loved Carlo's singing debut :) Look forward to seeing more about the old church sometime. Thankyou :) x

Fabulous Video. Yes More Please! I'm starting to see the 'real' Positano. I love that all the alleys, stairways etc are lined with pots of flowers, trees, adding to the tour.Stairs are are portals to Positano. People there are very much aware of the environment. The streets etc. are clean. And you & Carlo make the best couple in Positano. Best video in a while! I love them all.

Oh how exciting to have a Wed vlog. I absolutely loved walking with you all through the narrow cobbled walkways of Positano. How beautiful are the flowering pots at peoples doorways. Thank you so much for taking us with you. You have made my day.

Definitely! Hey Nicki & Carlo, please do more content like this. Always enjoy the strolls, and for a brief time you help us to lose ourselves, and walk right along with you in these most beautiful surroundings. Just have to nudge Carlo along once in a while, lol 😂. All kidding aside, it’s a wonderful thing to see a culture that truly values sincere human interaction, and conversation! Keep up the great work, love it ❤️

All of your videos are great. This video adds another aspect which is very good.. This gives your followers a better and deeper view of Positano. As usual is great especially when he speaks in Italian.

Love you showing individual walks through the town, as I hope to get back to Positano in a few years. Presently making a list of walks I would like to take. This is one for sure. I always “like” your video before I watch it, as there isn’t one I haven’t enjoyed. Keep up the great work. Happy to see so many subscribers you have now.

After this surprise video of yours I watched 5 or so of your 3 year old blogs. Each is still a fresh view (snow, morning concert, picture walk) of your wonderful habitat and culture, as you stated in one it never gets old, quite right. Thank you for your persistence and patience. I hope you are getting as much out of producing these as your thousands of viewers obviously are. ✔✔❤🌹

Just lovely to walk with you both. We trekked up and down steps and loved every minute of the hidden gems we stumbled across. There are photo opportunities at every turn...simply amazing. The fact that the steps have been there for so long is a miracle in itself! Sandi x🤩

Thank you both , I loved that walk because seeing all the way people do there houses up is fascinating and just seeing the locals. Who all seem to know you guys. Of course they would. Your celebrity’s now!! And tourist watching is always fun. In a place like where you are looking and watching is what it’s about really. Loved it.

What an enjoyable walk through those narrow path ways and stairs, each side like telling a story and behind each wall there is tale to tell. Only I could imagine those villagers live like in one complex as one big family.
Truly magical moments just cruising by these narrow yet full of life and solidarity, the kind of Nicki and carlos ended up this video with. ❤

Nikki this was a lovely walking tour. About 11 years ago, now, my sister, mum and I were on a Trafalgar tour of Italy and Positano was a day visit but unfortunately while on the flight to Italy, someone on board carried the flu and I ended up very ill in Italy. The day of that visit I spent in bed at the hotel we were staying at, which was on Amalfi, I can't remember now. But my sister and mum went while I was unable to, their impressions and descriptions although delightful, not quite the same as being able to see Positano up close, which you allow me to do. Thanks so much! As I spent most of my tour suffering from the flu I have very blurred memories of it. I didn't enjoy my trip at all. When I arrived home I spent a week in bed so I was very unwell the entire time I was away.
