Spot on. I was on Fair Isle back in 2016 and had a long and very dark walk down the island every night to get from the Bird Observatory to my sleeping spot. Juzzie was with me all the way on my little MP3 player and the sheep heard my rendition blasting the Northern Light sky as I sang along with JS. Pressing repeat at the end every time was necessary. WHOAAA! i would choose this over a "produced" multi track version of any song, any day of the week. my intro to juzzie smith. damn juzzie - you have spent a lot of time alone perfecting some unique techniques!?! your timing and rhythm - even when you had to hold the note while you fumbled for the shaker in your gear belt. (LOL with much love) you stepped out of it - right on the money. i'm not sure how it was recorded but much, if not all the sound(s) had to be mixed coming out of their source. someone had to be your sound board, i'd think. the foot work is steady as a rock, unique and covering i'm not sure how many musical duties. whole thing is tight. i'm sure you're dynamite with other players but putting it all together yourself is amazing. and you can sing!. i can't add 3 single digit numbers together without my ears bleeding so my admiration runs deep. and i come from from a professional video/audio background ... having met my share of a holes in the business. i'm a mixer/editor by heart. excellent work. all the best and i''ll be watching for you on a corner nearby - in eugene.oregon. check out the whitaker neighborhood block party next spring - a good time is had by all.... .
