If the goalie saves a shot, it's a save, not a miss. It's a miss when he shoots off-target. He's not taken the chance but he's not missed it, it's been saved. There's a big difference. Jesus's efforts were saved, Odegaard's was missed.

I genuinely don't think goalkeeper's get the props they deserve. The keeper made it extremely hard for us to score, we should of been 4 or 5-0 in the first half. It's not that Jesus was shit, the keeper was just that good.

As an Arsenal fan, I must ask Mark (who I am a fan and respect very much) which part of this victory was convincing for Arsenal? The score was 1-Nil until late and Monaco had two great chances to draw before the late goals. It seemed like a nervous win to me. Jesus and Odegaard missed twice each. Martinelli missed once. Jesus assisted Saka's tap-in but yet fans and pundits are rinsing him (not Odegaard and Martinelli). Saka did not win any of his take-on dribbles, didn't put any crosses through, but was at the right place at the right time for a tap in, so he is the hero (not Jesus who assisted). If the last goal was attributed to Havertz, delusional Arsenal fans will praise him for a goal and vilify Jesus even more. Even though Havertz only scores tap ins after the game has already been won most times.

An own goal is usually awarded if the attempt is off target and deflected into the goal by an opponent. After the ball nicks havertz shin it was on target for goal whether or not the defender got a touch on it, so it’s a deflection and Kai’s goal. If it wasn’t on target and the defender nicked it in then it would be an own goal. 👍🏾
If you watch the replay of the 3rd goal you can see Havertz does get a touch on it towards goal and then it takes a massive deflection off the defender. Still havertz’s goal since he got a touch to it that would have gone on target without the deflection.
