The fact that this leader was taking notes over such a "theraputic" discussion (for me at least) makes me believe that his private part is probably as glorious and maje"stick" as his white house exit "speech".

I so enjoy this conversation which is so deeply honest & raw open publicly. It is rare and I truly can not see a woman unveil & get nude on such secretive feelings. My opinion
I am definitely going to check your book Robert Greene.
The subject is much too case sensitive to me
And, right or wrong, you, Robert Greene, are an HSP or highly sensitive person which also means that you are highly strong.
To survive highly sensitive singularity makes one very strong 🇫🇷🇺🇸
    Thank you Anthony Scaramucci

Thank you for this interview. I loved the examples when I read this book ( and another one of Greenes). I worked in large multinationals at top levels and couldn’t work out what was going on around me at times. it was all foggy. I realised it was power play. Very eye opening to read the methods that people were employing around me. I was pretty naive but Greene helped me to understand how people who use power actually operate. Quite a few of the techniques are not my way of operating but it sure helped me to understand the way others might be trying to strategise around me……

Ego: how do we keep our ego in check?
Be aware that you have one - self absorbed and insecure - wound to ego - you check your ego by being aware of it.
Arguments lead to nothing productive -
Monitor yourself - how much of your behavior is trigger by your Ego?

Referring to the section around TC 18:30:
agreed that everything will pass. However, I personally think that there is a line for making that the guideline for our decisions: when a situation would cost people their wellbeing, their lives, their loved ones, their peace, or their freedom. It a case like that I think we have to think and act very smartly and very actively. Because sure, there were, for example, other democracies that just died. But this came always with the terrible suffering of human beings. Speaking as a German here who watches in horror what's happening in the US right now becasue it feels in a way so terribly familiar

"Validation" is an inherent life force - Like the other elements in life. All thinking creatures must have it. It's like the 5th element. When a man feels lack, his compulsions drive him to compensate.
Sometimes, a man's childhood leaves him with a void - without a strong sense of validation. His unconscious, seeking to bring the balance back, will drive him to compensate for this lack of validation.
Because it is driven by unconscious forces, it is far more powerful than conscious reason! Our conscious awareness is a new acquisition for humans. It is weak and prone to error. The unconscious drives are going to overtake conscious reason. This happens when the man feels he is not valid. His unconscious might drive him to compensate through the pathological or gluttonous pursuit of avarice, celebrity, power, etc. Or even to take the lives of others; or, to even make human sacrifices to the gods.
To be sure, Validation is the 5th Element. Man's unconscious will try always to bring the balance back. That might involve serial murder or celebrity, or some other symbolic compensation.

Thanks. Enjoyed it till about half way through. Then my blood sugar spiked because i ate two oranges and a banana (as part of a nutritious breakfast . . . haha). My patience was at an end. Amateur philosopher here and life long bible student. Been in psychotherapy. So none of this is new to me. Thx again. Gonna watch THE NAKED CITY (1948) now. I need to actually SEE the dark side in action. Words alone aren't compelling enough for my ego. I crave excitement.
