There are a bit too many raw track which only focuses on a waaaaay over-distorted kick drum, followed by some wicked screeches while the "same" voice is in all the tracks mentioning something about "die die die, or fuck the system fuck everything and such". Not complaining that it isn't a genre, but just think it has been done way to easy for raw produceres to actually put new tracks out there. (Breaking music theories) Thats why Phuture Noize and Frequencerz (+ the old Ran-D) are my only "raw" artists that i litteraly can say "i love listening to" :P
See, the thing is, raw hardstyle is based around an overdriven and over distorted hardstyle kick. That's how you get the crunchiest and hardest tok imaginable in a rawstyle kick. Then, you just clean up the tok and the tail, notch filter the mids of the tail so you're left with the sub, sub harmonics, and highs, and compress the living fuck out of it into oblivion. You can even hear this type of kick after this track was released, back on the Dirty Workz Anarchy channel, with the songs "Existence Through Sound", "Enclosure", and "Save Me". And with the screeches, rawstyle is always based around screeches until someone like Ran-D or Phuture Noize put amazing, dark, emotional, raw melodies and chord progressions in them. Although I do agree about your point with the aggressive vocals and oblivion-compressed vocal processing, you're pretty much complaining about the roots of rawstyle.
I really like the melody and especially the kick. It sounds fuckin awesome. But please explain why you did such an screechy Intro? I mean it's more than a euphoric Track so why did you use something like this? In my opinion the feeling isn't as good as it should be. But if you don't think about the Intro this track is awesome and it sounds a bit different than anything ive ever heard.But I can't tell you what makes it special (maybe that kick with such a melody). It's just a feeling you get when listening to this melody and watch the clip. Keep up the good work guys.
