Good intro to the new theater - I wouldn’t have thought of using the Sicily mat but it is perfect for sandy jungle. The UK’s N African & Italian uniform was the “tropical kit” so it must have appeared in the jungle tropics as well.
Great to see an example game from the new book. The complex deployment locations lead to an unusual distribution or forces. The jungle rules are interesting too.
Thank you, Travis & Andre, a great intro/insight to jungle mayhem & the new Lardy rules everyone is talking about. Getting in ...and out of jungle is hard work. Very funny! Cheers😄👍
That was nice. I have most of the forces, so I m ready for the rumble in.the jungle. So off to get the new book. Btw you guys could use lichen to math the different types of jungle edge or those little tufts.
Hi guys, good game. Just one point (I may be wrong here, but...), at 23.48, Travis brought in a squad from the scout team. After rereading the scenario instructions (objective bit), I believe that was illegal. Reason... it states 'The attacker may only deploy one Squad and one other Team from the Roadblock Jump-Off Point, all other units must deploy on the Jump-Off Points generated by the Patrol Phase.' Other than that, GO ANDRE!!!
So how long did the game take???? Valentines, what was Andre expecting King Tigers!! You are both not used to early war games. Yes the jungle fringe does have to be carefully used as it does affect the game. So it like playing and learning a new game with an old set of rules. Travis you will need to a summary of the things you learnt and what you forgot and what you like.
After thinking about that Japanese section trapped between the tank and Indian Squad, they should have retreated into the opposing squad and entered close combat. I think that would have been the better period play, versus surrendering. Never know what might happen in situations like that.

I heard they used the same uniform until 43 or so when they switched to greens
Some of those new rules do look quite neat. It was good to get to see their impact.

Fun and interesting introduction! I am super keen to get some jungle games in!
Really good game with lovely terrain and nice figures.
That was awesome. Always like to see Andre have a good game. Thank you for sharing!

Love the new rules and it’s certainly motivation to make some pacific theatre armies and terrain
Cant wait for the next CoC campaign
Great looking battle!
When you buy a ruse you don’t have to decide what it is until you use it.
Ah that’s cool

I did only bring in one squad from the roadblock JOP 😎
@@tabletopcp The second bit is my point 😁
Terrain map ordered... ☺
Can infantry not assault tanks? I know it’s extremely dangerous but it was also dangerous for tanks to operate solo vs. infantry.
Infantry cannot assault tanks unless they have a satchel charge or something like that

They didn’t have enough dice the first time they would of just got taken prisoner by being down 4x the dice again
