I wish the entire world knew about Nujabes. His music is truly timeless. Hes gotten me through so many tough times in my life. I get happy and at peace when I listen to his records, aswell as this sad feeling that hes not here making more music. I just know music today especially hiphop would be so much better if he was still making music. He was robbed of that chance. Rest in peace to a man I feel like ive known all my life just through his music. No other artist hits like Nujabes.
discovered Nujabes around 2017, got me through undergrad. it's hard sometimes to listen to his music because i'm so in awe of how beautiful his music is that I find myself sometimes either dancing and screaming the lyrics from the samples or just crying as I listen to his music. either way, I am so thankful for his music.
You know how you hear a song in your head, you can clearly hear the words, but you can't think of the name of it? I haven't heard this song in years, and I could clearly see the name of it, but I could barely hear the words, and now I found it again!!
Nujabes comment section has to be one of the most peaceful and amazing comment sections i have ever read. its either love messages for nujabes, or its just positive comments about the song and how it made them feel. rest in peace, nujabes. we all miss you and love the legacy you left in this world, you will never be forgotten.
i remember when i found this song like 8 years ago when i was 7th grade still and man im still bopping to it on and off to this day, I love all the great music it led me to hear and I welcome the more it will expose me to tbh
3:53 the introduction to the original band song and the covering is simply graceful makes a good completion and finishing to the song by far the best part of this song. pls give a like and comment if you felt the same thing
think the title perfectly encompasses the emotion the song evokes. Like, what the celebration at the end of the world would sound like. A mix of melancholic but hopeful cries from people over a beautiful backdrop as it all comes crumbling down. At least that's what is sounds like to me 🫡
@@pepto_ you're so right, it feels to me like a celebration of all the great things we did before our inevitable doom, and the fact that we did great things despite knowing our doom was inevitable :)

@@NielsGx haha it's not a problem for me cuz I listen to a lot of progressive house and techno music and those tracks are over 7-8 minutes long on average. I love noticing the little gradual changes over time.

@davidpabon2668 one of his best, but all the vagabond edits have kind of made it overrated this year tbh.

I swear Nujbes is one those artists that is relaxing, helps with depression, and pumps me up all in one.
Yessss he's an artist for any occasion. Will also add "focusing on work" to the list

After you die and your soul begins to rise little by little until it reaches heaven, this song begins to play with which God welcomes you.
Coming from a heavy disco sampling side of sample-based music with mostly Daft Punk, i hould say this song marks a huge shift...
No other song can I listen to and just feel an overwhelming happiness. Nujabes is good for the soul.
