Hollywood is generally weak on sequels, but James Cameron has been real strong so far (Aliens, T2). I look forward to the Avatar sequels with great anticipation and dread at the same time. It's such a round, finished story, seems impossible to go on with without a smell of sweat - but so was Terminator, still T2 managed to raise the stakes instead of being a cheap second skin off the game.
I have no idea why James Cameron hasn't been invited into the Order of Canada as he is the foremost pioneer Canadian filmmaker to date. Why does Celine and her husband have OC status, but not the writer, producer, etc... of (in my opinion) the two greatest films to be released yet, Titanic and Avatar not.

God I HATED Avatar and Titanic. Cameron hasn't made a decent film since T2.
