You can get mounts to keep the crv subframe but it places the engine further forward, not ideal for axel angle and radiator clearance. You need to use the rd1 rack ends on the eg/dc rack to compensate for the wider front track width of the rd1 otherwise your front wheels will be toed out, not enough thread length on the eg rack ends. The sway bar can be spaced off the subframe like you siad i used box aluminum 20mm i believe with bolts to the subframe and a nut and bolt to the sway bar mount. I cant run mine cause the exhuast will make contact with the swaybar 🙄. The alignment dowels is a good idea. There is an old k20 org thread on kswap rd1 i think he used dc5 ac lines. You're smashing this out mate took me alot longer to get to this point absolute mad lad 🍻
Hello my friend ! I'm Brazilian, I don't speak English so I'm sorry, I'm using google translator. I'm doing an R18Z3 swap on the CRV RD1, the transmission is touching the CRV subframe. Did you put a CIVIC 92-95 subframe on the CRV RD1? Is it compatible, of course, with all those adjustments you made to the bushings, stabilizer bar, etc? I'm sorry the question may seem so obvious, but the UA-cam subtitle translator is not translating when you say the subframe model
Awesome brother just met u this year at CHD definitely inspired….. im trying to decide Rd-1 or EF k swap so im watching this series to see whats up! Thanks for all the cheats 💪🏽👊🏽….. on to the next video i go 🫡
This is a dream machine now. Add a 2006 civic wheel and some rsx chairs. Rip off some SE bumpers and spare tire shell and slap them on too. Would be epic crv ever.
Did your lcas contact the subframe at all? Jdmnuggets did and he had to grind the edge of it down. Trying to get more info on this as im currently doing this swap
@@hondaresource yeah it’s just at idle I replaced the carriage mounts on the bottom rails but the other three looked fine. Maybe I’ll replace them out of caution.
I'm glad to see that you're planning to retain a full exhaust, heat, and ac.
I plan to drive this thing and enjoy it.
You are the man! I don’t care Kendra says!
Can’t wait for the turbo 2nd gen CRV awd content coming soon!
Yessir 👌

Good info thanks.
Are you referring to using rd1 inner tie rods or outter tie rods or use both?
@@DrennanBuiltRacing both rd1 inner outer

Nice! K CRV is definitely fun
Planning on this with my CRV. Just need to find the engine, and of course the money and time.
I feel ya there

Disregard my last question just found this video 🤟🏻

I didn't have to modify mine at all
my dude you need a head cam I subbed good content in the market for a crv and want a peppier engine !!!
Hey, fixed the A/C in my CRV and now I have a pretty nasty vibration in the steering wheel almost feels like a lawn mower. Any ideas?
Probably motor mounts. Do you just feel the vibrating at idle?
@@hondaresource yeah it’s just at idle I replaced the carriage mounts on the bottom rails but the other three looked fine. Maybe I’ll replace them out of caution.
Great info! Thanks man!
Thank you
thank you!
Hello friend, which hasport mounts did you use ?Thanks
Ekk5
Can the hasport EKK-K for AWD work, because you used the S1 T bracket for the EKK5 ?
I just want the AWD 2.4 CRV from the second gen in my 1st gen. Is that possible? I just want this little more power from the next motor.
Anything is possible. It's not plug and play though
Thank u for doing this vid
Welcome
Teşekkürler.
Thank you
hello friend, which axle did you use?
0:53 that would be a good “mythbusting” video if you showed why you didn’t have to swap that subframe
I did swap the subframe though
Eg/dc subframe sets the engine back about an inch or 2 which helps with clearance from the radiator
does the 8th gen tsx 6 peed work?
I was number 1!!.
I gave you a shout out toward the end
@@hondaresource what you did!!!!?. Ayy I have to finish it now before I go to sleep and head back to work tomorrow smh.
Do you know if I can use the rd1 manual transmission?
Not with a k series
You selling your old subframe for the crv!?
I can
How much you wanna let it go for and ship to California
@@ItsMoneyJohn I would let it go for $30 the shipping is what would be crazy
Question bro. Does manual crv subframe the same as the auto subframe!?
It’s me from Facebook
What's good man!
It’s a Crap show with my RD1 tryna get her right
you sound like Danny Mcbride
