Casey Kasem was the staff announcer on most of the NBC program promos. The Cool Whip ad featured character actress Marge Redmond ( THE FLYING NUN) who did a series of commercials for the product from the late 70s to the early/ mid 80s.
The Cool Whip commercial is strangely worded accurately. "How about some of the real thing?... only I use Cool Whip" Nice of them to state the exception to the real thing.
