Even though there have been higher scores using more advanced elite technique moves, I still consider this video to be the benchmark. It's the combination of ET and speed that makes this so remarkable.
Brilliantly amazing - I never even knew the 'trick' to get 5 in a row by moving one to delay the matching of less (e.g. 3) before this video & was actually enthralled 'just' from that. I've been trying but so far haven't managed it (thought I was decently fast until I watched this vid, too :P). Excellent job!
This is an awesome technique you came up with. After practicing for about 2 weeks i'm getting the hang of it. I can do it about 2 or 3 times out of five now
That was awesome! And the description about getting multipliers was very clear, didn't really need the gas tank analogy :) This is beastlike my friend. BEASTlike
Kirbbard, I take my hat off to you... I would write a long comment detailing your shattering of the game but I think your vid speaks for itself!! Kudos!! ^_^
I watched this vid and I pretty much got the "elite technique" down packed (tho it took me a bit of practice). I use it to get hypercubes and the exploding ones as well (match 4). My highest score ever was 768k (with boosts) and 493k without boost. Thanks for posting this - Now I don't play Bejeweled without using this technique at least once!
MAN this technique is HARD! But when I actually manage to do it, (not in-game yet, of course) it feels awesome! Thanks so much for uploading this video! I'll be sure to use this technique in-game once I get used to it. :)
@509g1 The loud noise at 0.54 is because the game is moving at 1000 speed bonus at the time, which means the blocks move faster than normal. I had to be even faster than the ones I was doing earlier, and in the process of trying to move faster, my hand slipped on the mouse and I clicked extra loud on the mouse button. I almost messed up, and was actually surprised I didn't blow it on that one. As you can imagine, doing the ET just after or just before a blazing speed is the most challenging.
Thank you for accepting my video as a response Kirbbard, much appreciated. I haven't got the chance to say this, so I will take this opportunity to do so. As a BB player I can pull off all these great techniques, thanks to this very video you posted, where I learn all about ET, the basic of all. It's amazing that you find a way to work around the delay matching system in BB. Props to you man, you're a genius.
@jradownz Blazing speed is when you switch and match about 24 different gems without waiting more than a couple of seconds between each match. If you watch the top left part of the screen above the score, you will notice the flame meter fill up after about 15 matches in a row. If you are not playing fast enough then you will never see a blazing speed.
My eyes don't move sufficiently quickly enough to work out the super strategy that is ELITE TECHNIQUE. This may be the most beautiful thing i have seen in a long time. You should be knighted.
Very interesting . . . You make a move that doesn't trigger a match, and that gives you extra time to have the next two moves trigger together when the non-match resets. I'll have to try this. Thanks!
Thanks to you, I am now doing some easy ETs confidently, and I made 6 HCs in 1 game the most. I almost scored 900K w/o ET but that takes lot of luck to do, particularly LH. With ET, I consistently score 350K (though 250K is still my most common meda l:P) If only I can do that fast like you, I can sure score 500K consistently. I also did a 7-in-a-row (NO ELITE TECHNIQUE!!!). It is confirmed a supernova gem in Bejeweled 3. Anyway, thanks for your hard work once again, and hope you can reach 1M.
I figured it out. First, you gotta move one away from the line, then move the other two towards it as the first one returns to the initial spot to form a 4-5 gem line. For a 5 gem, it's a 3 gem move minimum. I have yet to learn how to make a L or T for a star gem using this method, but this is pretty damn kickace. Thanks, mate.
@Volvican The way you explain the elite technique move is true. You move one out of the way so you can slide in two for a bigger match, best use is making hypercubes. In order to see it takes training your eyes to look for it. It works on facebook's version, but I'm not sure if any other version works. Give it a try, and you will eventually get it to work. It is quite thrilling when you get your first one to match properly!
My best was 695k without this technique you demonstrate, but I can definitely see how you are doing it by pausing enough through the video. Indeed, you need to be very fast as you have said. I am going to try this. Looks like it requires much practice like you pointed out. Thanks for this excellent tip. :)
@rdalexlie thanks for the awesome remarks. It's great to see other people taking the ET to new extremes! Comments and videos like yours are so fun to see and watch. It's just neat to see something like the ET making such an impact on so many people all over the world. Keep the BB scene alive! ET forever!
@steppa9Well, it's very hard to explain, especially in the limited youtube text boxes here. I can give 3 pointers though. 1. you can't do this only moving 2 gems. It has to be at least 3. If you're fast enough, you can do 4, but 3 is hard enough. 2. It matters 100% which gem you move first, second, and third. If you do them out of order, you will not succeed. 3. Speed. You must be fast. Very fast. The speed you see me going at 0:07 seconds in is the slowest you can go. Hope this helps.
Totally possible (though extremely difficult in the current version) Personally I relied totally on speed and reached 3 blazing steeds in one game and the technique is usable if anything
3 blazing speeds in 1 minute? I think I may have done that several times over a dozen thousand times, so it's like less than 1% of my games I've been able to do that. But I always thought it was merely possible to do 2 most of the time.
@Kirbbard Speed isn't everything, though. As you said, it is very important which gems you move. I know how it works. First, you move a gem away from the line to avoid triggering the match. Then, move the second one so that it would make a 3+ gem match as soon as the first one returns to the original position, thus not returning to its position. Meanwhile, we move a third, fourth, etc. gem to rack up the number of gems in a same match.
It's amazing how you can do the ET during blazing speed. Right now I can do it a low speeds, but I'm still working on pulling it off during high speeds. Question: have you ever tried the ET using a touch screen interface (e.g. ipad or pc tablet) rather than a mouse?
@69Bentley It's actually not a glitch in my opinion. It's more like taking advantage of the already programmed physics of the game and making matches that a normal one-switch move won't allow.
I ve seen pple move 2. Didnt even think about trying to do 3+. Looks like as long as you move one of the inner pieces out of the main line first you can then move the outter ones to the main mine. When the middle one returns to its original position the cube is set.
@1ongsightboy I, as well as others, have all found that Chrome is the best web browser for not only ET, but playing BB in general. If you haven't already I recommend you use it. If you are interested in more Elite Technique replays you will find many of them on my Channel and also the Channels of my friends to discover all of the possibilities in the game that have all stemmed from ET. Many thanks to Kirbbard for discovering this visionary concept!
wow! this technique really works, i'm practicing it now though i'm still slow i managed to get some 4-in a row and 5-in a row gems...from my average score of 100k below it improved to 300-400k...
All right, i've just seen this and have been trying this technique, with success. However one thing is, when the speed boost gets to 1000, the speed also gets faster(switching). You actually have to be even faster. Which is kinda hard for me. Awesome.
@Kirbbard Exactly. Speed is a main factor, and this can be achieved by simply playing Bejeweled. Play normally and try to get all the gems you can, regardless of the number of gems you match, I mean, if you end up screwing up a would've been cube by making a tree-gem match. The point is to develop speed.
@RoscoeStar I don't have the PC version, sadly. I have gotten 3 blazing speeds two times, both without bonuses. Once back when I finally got it the first time, and strangely I did it a second time that same day a few games after I did it the first time. To get 3 BS, you do need to go super fast like I was going after 8x, but your score lacks badly due to few multiplier bonuses. Like what 'Doopyhole10' said 3 days ago "6 hypercubes but only 350k points." You need those multipliers or no score! =)
Nice, glad to see you're still playing! Out of curiosity, how many 500K medals do you have? And three blazing speeds is very impressive. I've heard the sizzle for the third one, but I have yet to get it.
I've just read all of your description of this video. You are soo clever to have worked out all of these techniques and stretegies! I've watched this and your other video many times now over a long period of time, i think i watched your original 647,100 when it first came out back in november? and this one loads aswell. I'd just like you to know that i really appreciate you sharing this with everyone. Also, are you actually going to stop playing the game? if so, why? It would be such a waste
@kaigreg Sorry, I'm still skeptical...what would convince me is slow motion, picture-in-picture of the board and the person's hand using the mouse. It would probably also explain the technique better.
@Kirbbard The videos are certainly appreciated. I'm with bdayboy in that my BB browser window opens with this vid. I doubt that I would get as skilled but I play daily and am improving gradually and my scores reflect this. The speed you go at after converting the 8x is one of my goals with crossing 1000k the other but everything in time. Thanks for showing that great scores ARE possible WITHOUT CHEATS!!
@Kirbbard I remember in your 647k vid you gave some basic tips to getting high scores. This technique is the bomb by the way!!!! Question...would you mind sharing your very important technique for getting multipliers so far?? You get multis within 3 4 and 5 seconds of using one.
If you are using the speedhack in Cheat Engine to achieve this (and I guess you are) then I will let you in on something else: you can actually move 2 pieces at once if you set the speedhack low enough. You can open 2 cheat engines and attach them to the same process to toggle your speeds. Use .001 just before you play a move (or many moves), and you can move more than one gem at a time to create a star or hypercube. And it works in blazing speed too, whilst Elite Technique doesn't.
@eVoluci0n No, I don't think it will be patched. If they did, the way I would get points is the same as how I explain in my info box above, except no ET. The reason I don't think it will be patched is because it would require reprogramming a lot of the physics of the game, perhaps more than they're willing to spend time to change for a simple, free, facebook pass-time. Maybe they will, but I doubt it. In the mean time, practice up!
@LordXargo When that's ever happened to me, where a gem gets sucked away from its starting place, it never ends up in a "5 match hyper cube" elite technique move done correctly. It's always happened as a failed attempt and it instead matches 3 other gems instead of the 5 I wanted. I agree that the way it gets sucked out of its place is a glitch, but it's a failed attempt, meaning I believe the elite technique isn't the glitch. The failed part is the glitch.
nice... my best without bonus addon is like 550. with bonus it was 680k I don't play like that tho, I just do everything very fast. the hypercube thing you do is amazing. I saw someone do it but it takes him a while to recognize it, and for you is very smoothing with the speed, so very nice! I need to prac on that...
@MagicDrumSticks The problem with the ipad is that it does not support flash which is required for facebook BJB. I think they have their own version of BJB. However I started using HP TouchSmart and I am very happy with the touch screen there. I now use a stylus (pen) instead of a mouse. It allows you to make the ET movements faster and with less stress on your hands.
Good Video. I can see how this can be achieved. I don't believe it's impossible because I'm actually seeing this happen in real time. What I do know is this: it IS impossible to now this happen on a touch screen phone like I have (iphone 4). Because it's a touch screen, it won't allow you to make these moves at one time. One would have to touch the screen in 2 places at one time, and the format doesn't allow you to do it. You definitely have to have a mouse and computer to achieve this techniqu
@bobacha Yes, this technique still works. I just tried it out 5 minutes ago to make sure it hasn't changed. That however is only on facebook. I have never tried it on any other version.
@BigJavs The only time that I find impossible to do the ET is when you're in Blazing Speed. I do the ET after just coming out of Blazing Speed in this video, so the blocks are moving a bit fast. I've also been able to do the ET getting a hyper cube, which that same move put me into blazing speed, so that's essentially the second fastest the game can move. It's certainly tougher the faster the blocks, but to be able to do the ET all throughout your game is part of what makes you become faster.
@509g1 I just tried it out and yes it does work on the latest BB on facebook as of this moment. They might've changed the look of BB, but the gameplay is still the same.
hey, i've watched ur vedio for many times to try to learn the ET!! and i have successd 5 times! it's hard but really cool and helpful for scoring. Just 5 min ago i got "712,000" without boost !!! my first time!! LOL wanna say thank you for this vedio sharing xD i'll practice more n get more high score.
Hey! A random thought... Let's say you convert a 6x and in doing that induce a 7x to drop with lots of time to spare. Then before you could convert the 7x another 7x falls still with at least 20-25 seconds to spare and you continue playing but cannot manage to swap any of the multipliers. Would the game...a) not drop anymore multipliers because you're at the max of 8 multipliers in a game b) drop another for you to convert which technically could be a 9x Time is limited in a game but....
@Kirbbard They updated bejeweled blitz this week and strangely enough it's been easier to do the ET at higher speeds. Am really starting to think they're not trying to fix it but make it part of the game play now 0.0
@eVoluci0n Actually, no, I didn't get consistent 600k+ games at all. I usually get consistent 400k+ games though, and by the end of the week I'd have 750k on a good week. It was the ET that allowed me to score this high, and I've only broken 800k once, which was this game here. Sadly luck has a bit to do with this game just as much as skill does. There were some games I felt like I was doing awesome, but alas, nothing was scoring high because of lack of bonuses or what have you. It varied.
Very impressive score you have there mate. I play bejeweled blitz myself, and I have gotten the high score of 859,000 last week. Of course, for an even higher score, always go for the Extra Time power up. If you all have facebook, type my name, look at my profile for bejewled stars, and you'll find replays of me playing bejeweled blitz
@moti0nal unless you're moving the correct blocks in a certain order, they will not "stick" in the new formation and will return to their original positions. Also, being fast is a very big part of it, too, but not as important as the order of movement. Watch a bunch of the videos on tutorials of the ET here on youtube and see exactly which ones to move first.
Awesome!! I'd like to see what score you could get using the boosts! Been trying the elite technique with no success so far! Does anyone know if anything happens when you fill all the scores with gold in the stats?
Hey Kirbbard what's the most or average number of moves that you've made in 1 game?? I can rarely make 50, 40's my average. In the vid you crossed 60 is that a norm for you?? It would've been nice to see one of your 700k games without the ET though.
@vengersama This explanation on multipliers is the best out. In fact it's the only really good one I've seen. I've noticed that the multiplier issue is true on the pc version however on facebook another multi would fall as though you're playing without a free 2x already...well at least that's my opinion. The boosts I use are the last 3.
@hanmaumboii Awesome. It's always fun to hear about other players' progresses. That's the whole reason I uploaded this video was to help other people improve and strive for better scores! Thanks for sharing.
Do you just switch em really fast? x] Like to get a hypercube, if you had the board OBOBO YOROW You would switch the middle one up, then the 2 O's in the bottom row up, so when the middle one comes back down, it registers it as a Hypercube?
@Kirbbard ok thanks for the response twas just a random thought that came to mind. Obviously from your vids you'd have seen the scenario unlike me who's still working on my speed hence why i've never seen it. I know that 6x was the max in the old bb but saw a bot video that induced a 7x close to the end. O yea yesterday i made my PR 681600 w/o boosts in 39 moves and last week i made 786k with in approx 50 moves. That's sloooow but i'll get there. Thanks for the advice and inspirational video:)
@RoscoeStar I've seen this a hundred times. I have a couple of 7x's on the field, and just can't reach them. No matter what happens, a third 7x will never fall, just like a second 8x will never fall. They stop producing, so a 9x is never possible.
@mcpy1212 The thing is, this is not a glitch. It's part of the mechanics from the game, and to change it would require changing the game mechanics from the bottom up, which I don't know if they would want to do an overhaul like that. It's possible, but I kind of doubt it. Also, being it's a skilled technique, it's not like it's a broken freebie that just anyone can do to get a million points without even trying. Know what I mean?
@techmaster2727 Try doing it before dismissing it. From what I've heard it only works on facebook, but it's a true, unhacked move. It's just unorthodox. You need to have considerable speed with the mouse to make it work though.
@PaoloSilverInzaghi To a lot of people, the speed I'm moving at in this video, and the speed required to do the elite technique is very fast. I was mostly speaking broadly. There are some people I know personally who are sadly incapable of doing this move, (sadly, because this move is so awesome) even after trying for hours they can't do it once, and it's not because they don't know how to do it. It's because they're not fast enough.
I think it's an awesome technique, but the problem is, you still need to see the matches before you're able to time your switches. My problem is, I just can't see the matches fast enough. I guess some people (like you) can see those matches much more quickly than other people.
@birthdayboy1211 The day I put up this video is the day I stopped playing BB. I'm done playing this game because I feel like I've done just about everything you can do in it. Certainly I can improve my score into the 1,000,000 range, but I'm satisfied with what I've accomplished and shared. Now I leave it up to the rest of you to carry on, so to speak.
I just went through A LOT of trouble trying to find out what my username/password was for youtube AND my email account associated with this youtube account just to say, "YOU ARE THE FOOKING MAN!" Watching this just completely blows my mind. I immediately opened facebook and tried to use the ET, but was unable too. I understand how it works and what you're doing; but my brain / hands just don't seem to move fast enough to pull it off I guess. Maybe with more practice I'll be able to get it.
@biggerroger You think I was speed hacking? I appreciate the compliment but no, I don't cheat and never have, and never will. The "trick" I use is called the Elite Technique though it's hardly a trick, and anyone on facebook can do it and you don't download anything. It requires a lot of speed and accuracy and knowing how to manipulate the gems. Nothing more, nothing less. Give it a shot and perhaps you can master the ET and score even higher like many here on youtube have. Can't hurt, right?
@bejeweledtips Yes, this video and this score is the real thing. There are no cheat codes, and that's also kind of you to invite me to participate in an expert player's bejeweled blitz tournament. This Elite Technique I show in the video requires a lot of foresight and speed, along with accuracy with the mouse. Perhaps it is a technique that you would consider also part of the challenge of the game. Once you master and incorporate the Elite Technique it is hard to go back to normal play. Try it.
@eVoluci0n if in fact it's encouraged that would be great. I've been able to improve on the et a lot. the pc bb is significantly slower than fb own's though wrong moves almost guarantee a loss in speed. @kirbbard Although you've retired a pc version vid would be nice. Also 1 question....have you gotten 3 blazing speeds more than once and is the speed you move at AFTER converting the 8x in this video the speed required to get 3 blazings??
@birthdayboy1211 I do have some personal quirks when playing this game that I haven't shared, you're right. But I'm not sure if they're advantageous or not, since I haven't compared or contrasted them to other tactics. Since that's the case, I don't say anything about them. More or less though, all my proved techniques I've shared, and it's up to you to find your own niche.
@Kirbbard im sorry i just cant comprehend how you manage to do the elite technique, you move so fast its hard to understand how its performed, see if maybe you could release a video with you performing the EXTRODINARY - UNBELIEVABLE! trick slowing it down by 2x, that would really help, ofcourse, i dont really know if you want to keep it secret or not LOL XD
Your cognition is impressive! If it is real. You should consider playing in St. Petersberg next March - (Ленинградская Международный турнир) If you are just another American with a cheat code, dont bother.
What is the technique for getting such a high score- is it only using this move of making a hypercube or can you share some other tips on how to get a better score? (my best is 314,150 :P)
Even though there have been higher scores using more advanced elite technique moves, I still consider this video to be the benchmark. It's the combination of ET and speed that makes this so remarkable.
Thanks. I still remember the day when I discovered ET like it was yesterday. Hard to believe 7 years have gone by...
Brilliantly amazing - I never even knew the 'trick' to get 5 in a row by moving one to delay the matching of less (e.g. 3) before this video & was actually enthralled 'just' from that. THANK YOU SO MUCH, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!! I JUST TRIED IT AND DID IT!! Truly, thank you!! I only have to master it now.
Amazing skill, I can barely register in my brain and get those moves off in time to keep my speed combo. TALENT.
It's amazing how you can do the ET during blazing speed. Right now I can do it a low speeds, but I'm still working on pulling it off during high speeds.

If you are interested in more Elite Technique replays you will find many of them on my Channel and also the Channels of my friends to discover all of the possibilities in the game that have all stemmed from ET. Many thanks to Kirbbard for discovering this visionary concept!
I gaurentee this man isnt a fake, he is just insanely quick. nice work
wow! this technique really works, i'm practicing it now though i'm still slow i managed to get some 4-in a row and 5-in a row gems...from my average score of 100k below it improved to 300-400k...
@Vidgames
ok i'll be right on it. Don't mind if I speak in a weird accent because i'm from singapore.
really lucky with the way they dropped at the start there, nice job!
I have to say. Your techniques are good! :D
The failed part is the glitch.
nice...
my best without bonus addon is like 550. with bonus it was 680k
I don't play like that tho, I just do everything very fast. the hypercube thing you do is amazing.
LOL
wanna say thank you for this vedio sharing xD
i'll practice more n get more high score.
Hey! A random thought...
Let's say you convert a 6x and in doing that induce a 7x to drop with lots of time to spare. Then before you could convert the 7x another 7x falls still with at least 20-25 seconds to spare and you continue playing but cannot manage to swap any of the multipliers.
Would the game...a) not drop anymore multipliers because you're at the max of 8 multipliers in a game
b) drop another for you to convert which technically could be a 9x
Time is limited in a game but....
They should hold bejeweled blitz tournaments, this game deserves it
My mind can't even comprehend that video I just watched, it make my nose, and ears bleed...
Do you just switch em really fast? x]
Like to get a hypercube, if you had the board
OBOBO
YOROW
You would switch the middle one up, then the 2 O's in the bottom row up, so when the middle one comes back down, it registers it as a Hypercube?
@Kirbbard ok thanks for the response twas just a random thought that came to mind. Obviously from your vids you'd have seen the scenario unlike me who's still working on my speed hence why i've never seen it. I know that 6x was the max in the old bb but saw a bot video that induced a 7x close to the end. O yea yesterday i made my PR 681600 w/o boosts in 39 moves and last week i made 786k with in approx 50 moves. That's sloooow but i'll get there. Thanks for the advice and inspirational video:)
Wow, you're my hero, if you can get over 800k without boosts that makes me wonder what score you'll get with 'em.
@RoscoeStar I've seen this a hundred times. I have a couple of 7x's on the field, and just can't reach them. No matter what happens, a third 7x will never fall, just like a second 8x will never fall. They stop producing, so a 9x is never possible.
Thank you for sharing this tecnique , is great !!
liked this video. and everytime i watch this, my right hand is itching to play bejeweld blitz
Know what I mean?
what tips would you give for learning to match faster? play more?
@techmaster2727 Try doing it before dismissing it. From what I've heard it only works on facebook, but it's a true, unhacked move. It's just unorthodox. You need to have considerable speed with the mouse to make it work though.
@vtn08 yes it was done on facebook, which from what I've heard is the only version the ET works on.
Wow..you are a beast!! Great job!!
What kind of mouse do you use? I can't seem to click fast enough to do this technique. Thanks!
@Kirbbard - This is an amazing technique and I really want to be able to do it, could you make a detailed tutorial on how to do it please?
I think it's an awesome technique, but the problem is, you still need to see the matches before you're able to time your switches. My problem is, I just can't see the matches fast enough. I guess some people (like you) can see those matches much more quickly than other people.
@birthdayboy1211 The day I put up this video is the day I stopped playing BB. I'm done playing this game because I feel like I've done just about everything you can do in it. Certainly I can improve my score into the 1,000,000 range, but I'm satisfied with what I've accomplished and shared. Now I leave it up to the rest of you to carry on, so to speak.
I just went through A LOT of trouble trying to find out what my username/password was for youtube AND my email account associated with this youtube account just to say, "YOU ARE THE FOOKING MAN!"
Watching this just completely blows my mind.
Can't hurt, right?
you seem to know a lot, was wondering, do you know how to create coin gems or what it is that makes them fall? thanks :)
@Kirbbard this glitch maybe repaired someday.
You got to be fast... and even faster for this technique... ... how long have you been playing?
@Kirbbard im sorry i just cant comprehend how you manage to do the elite technique, you move so fast its hard to understand how its performed, see if maybe you could release a video with you performing the EXTRODINARY - UNBELIEVABLE! trick slowing it down by 2x, that would really help, ofcourse, i dont really know if you want to keep it secret or not LOL XD
@MrVnorbee I dont use "elite technique" either, im just good at BB
Your cognition is impressive! If it is real. You should consider playing in St. Petersberg next March - (Ленинградская Международный турнир) If you are just another American with a cheat code, dont bother.
What is the technique for getting such a high score- is it only using this move of making a hypercube or can you share some other tips on how to get a better score? (my best is 314,150 :P)
Is there a special technique to getting the multipliers to show? You seem to get them every few seconds.
so this is the elite technique...I don't know if I'm brave enough to try it, looks like I could get CTS from one game.
@denvercheddie Actually, no, I haven't tried it out on a touchscreen.
RIP ET, it's now hardly possible to be done...
@Crimsonland1 I just got blazing speed, so that's why it blew up without a power gem.
How come your minitue felt like forever, but mine goes by like it is 30 seconds and i have not even half your score....
