hey guys :3 let me know what u think i should add to my website. im looking for some ideas on how to make it better! anyways, hope you enjoyed this video. thanks so much for watching :33
Hi!! I don`t know if it`s just my issue or something is wrong with the site itself, but i feel like it`ll be better if i tell you. I wanted to check out your website, but when i`m trying to, it just says "The server can not find the requested resource. In the browser, this means the URL is not recognized." and error 403
I'm 34 yo and your site looks so much like my profile pages when I was in highschool. Like, those blingees made me so emotional wth lol! I've never felt such intense nostalgia over anything else! The internet truly has lost the plot on creativity and I am INSPIRED to make a silly goofy personal website 💜💜💜
This is so wholesome ;_; nostalgia galore. is this what people feel like when their children think your clothes are cool and start wearing them or something? *31y/o millennial tears* this makes me want to start a blog again
So I've recently graduated from a graphics / web design school and because I'm a mess I've tried using different things to organise my life and hobbies such as notion and outline the fact that I've never considered doing this (and why I'm so thankful I found this channel) is so silly to me. THIS IS SO FIRE, TRULY THE POWER OF SELF EXPRESSION ON THE INTERNET !!!
Your website is becoming better and better. I love visiting it and seeing what you've done with it. It's so much fun to visit a website that has personality! :D
What a wonderful video! Your website is looking beautiful 💜 the resources section is a goldmine, and I know I will spend a cosy afternoon clicking all the links and exploring. Thank you for sharing all of this! I haven’t felt this positive about the internet for years, so thank you for carving out a lovely little space of magic and nostalgia ^_^
Checked it out before deciding to join the channel- very cute! Big fan of the old-web style graphics and site tags and stuff, very myspace, very kawaii
I first got online when was 13 years old back in the late 90's. This sort of creativity is something that I miss about the late 90's internet. I have fond memories of slowly loading DBZ fan blogs on dial up.
Just watched the other two videos about revamping the website. I loaded the site and was having flash backs to the early internet, except the site loads so quick and thankfully the navigation elements we have become accustomed to is still in place. Its…well fun to click through the various articles and galleries, it’s a really nice mix of content. I think we got so locked into the notion that all websites must have a clean aesthetic, it kind of siphoned all the joy out of what a website could be. Thanks for sharing your thinking behind and implementation of the website.
Oh I adore the improvements!! they feel so personal and i love the little sketchbook meets digital details, like the washitape linking to your portfolio, the crayons, the header to the sketchbook part, and somehow that meshing well with the rest of the aesthetic, as well as the tamagotchi random post button, its like this is your digital desk, with scattered items across the spacethemed deskmat, I dont have any design ideas other than if you can it could be really cool if you leaned even more into that, if thats something you'd like. Just showing more random trinkets! I feel so inspired to work on my personal site even more now ✨
i absolutely love that so much!! i honestly had a hard time coming up with a "theme" for my website since i'm into so many types of things. but i'm definitely gonna stick with this digital desk with items scattered across a galaxy deskmat thing :3
3:55 Hey das me :3 Also this video is so helpful because I was thiking of giving my personal site a makeover seeing as it's been the same cookie cutter site since 2023
!!! Been stuck on my neocites devlog and left it to rot for months... :'0 all these resources are so cool and made me want to give it another go though, thanks!! Been struggling to even set up the basics so seeing whats possible is really motivating? (You sound so American, the sudden 'välkommen' on your website tour gave me such whiplash haha.)
i was in the same place! struggling setting up the basic functions of my website - but now seeing what other websites are doing creatively, it got me so inspired! best of luck to your own devlog :3 (don't be fooled by my accent, i am from sweden! XD )
Thanks for RSS feed luvstar. That's the way I subscribe to youtube channels, blogs and news for many many years. Your website is awesome and is so much fun to reed and look at!
This is so inspiring! It’s actually making me want to redo my own website, haha. The animated buttons are such a nostalgic throwback to the 90s-reminds me of the wild Myspace days, where some profiles were nearly impossible to read! Back then, they were kind of annoying, but now it’s pure nostalgia. These days, I mostly build corporate websites as part of my job, but your creativity really sparked something. It even got me thinking about offering free hosting for passion projects like yours (I run a web hosting company). Thanks for the inspiration!
im so glad i could have inspired you! offering free hosting could be great for those looking to make websites but cant afford em just yet. ive received many comments like that, so there would definitely be a place for it! :)
I really appreciate that you've added credits and how you've made the blinkies! I recently started my own neocities adn i'm excited to start customizing after laying down some ground work. I just wanted to ask, for your blog how do you add blog posts, do you have to do that on the backend? Thanks! :)
@@luvstarkei2 I will once I get more added on to it. Im working from scratch so i take the lessons I learned from w3 schools and applying it to the site. its easier for me to retain info that way
Im useing google sites since its the only option for me right now and im haveing trouble makeing it not look so cooperate. Does anyone have any tips or know how i can use blinkies, overlays, and stuff in it?
I love how you speak with your mouth always kind of sideways :/ You're right about how people should make more personal websites… but google's referencing has gotten so bad, it's disincentivizing it!
I'm starting to think google is less important anyway, and it makes more sense to keep your website linked in your bio on discord or whatever social media because that's where it's going to be seen by the people who care about you. Google is getting less usable for all searches across the board each year.
Oh it's you hello!!! your previous video inspired me to make my own website! I decided to code it myself from scratch, it's a bit complicated at times but I'm having fun learning. It's on my PC for now but once I'm happy with it I'll upload it to Neocities. Thank you so much for introducing me to a new hobby :D Those resources look very interesting, I'll check them out (and your website) as soon as I can, thanks again!!

I am starting a blog, I am getting an old Linux distro (openSUSE) and customizing it, and I am making a website. Are we back?
I want to make wiki's again 😭
I made a custom website, wiki, and custom linux theme since the pandemic. so worth it. my computer is so cute.😅
@@ArchLars Just watch out to get security patches for your openSUSE! 😉

Needs more purple 💜

Create a personal blog category, Ma'am Kei! I will visit and read them, comment on them as well religiously. :)
The pure, unbridled joy and pride you display in this video is awe-inspiring.
