@@getampedbegoummono is just stereo mixed down to one channel. what the explanation might be is that the audio for the voice is inverted for the channels and they cancel out when mixed
That part of the dialogue is made stereo by a duplicating the mono track (the female voice) to both L and R channel, and then reverse polarity of one side. Because how stereo to mono works by summing up the signal of L and R back to one signal, the vocal will then be cancelled out.

stereo is two tracks, mono is one track, the girl's vocals are split onto the second track which mono sound can't pick up
