- English Guide on how to beat DLC3 bosses via SL1 on difficulty 9 in Black Souls 2
The strategies in these videos does not require Requiem, Pocket Watches or any visits to Chaos Dungeon. Guide was done on the minimum number of loops to access DLC3 content.
Explaining what even happened here visually is kinda hard mainly because I have to explain a bug in this game where using certain items like healing items can cancel out the last action taken in a multi-action turn.
This is the reason for the weird order of things done here and why you are required to have two spare actions before switching to Leiden's axe and healing to full because otherweise equipping Leiden's axe and then healing will cancel out the last action you took with a different weapon and switching back to the weapon who's skill got cancelled to redo it will lead to the max HP dropping from unequipping Leiden's axe.
Whereas, with two actions leading into switching to leiden's axe, you can do one action with Leiden's axe equipped, heal, redo that action because it got cancelled by your healing and finish your turn with the last action with all your increased max hp intact.
Also I apologize for not getting the half-HP dialogue. The first Frumious Wrath was not intended to kill him and I do not have the heart to re-attempt this.

I didn't know that there was a workaround with the healing item neither that it was a bug, interesting to see because i assumed it was a game balacing thing

Is it possible to play the entire game from the start without leveling up and not using souls?
I remember trying it ages ago but had to stop midway cause one battle was causing me problems.

Base game is absolutely possible. It all depends on how good your early game plan/route is. On DLC3 I'm not so sure.
@@Darkyan97DLC 3 at difficulty 9 is possible as well. There's a video here on UA-cam where someone does just that
Possible with the right gear but it is both rng based on some fights and also reliant on your tactics and build. Early game is hell at SL1 because you're limited on gear, but by end game you have top tier stuff that can fold most enemies and bosses so go ham.
