I just found out about Pause. I have been looking for months for an off road type camper trailer. All I can say is WHOA...amazing
Oh my goodness, you guys have nailed everything! ❤❤ I got the brochure downloaded, and I just have one tiny suggestion … put in a cubby for each of the bunks, into the back end of the bathroom cabinets against the bunk wall. That way the people sleeping there have a place for their phone, eyeglasses, or a book, or maybe even a glass of water! 😉 Wow I am ready to order one of these and become a Roamer!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Agree. Some small amount of storage in the bunk space would be nice.
In addition, the the bunks should have a privacy curtain as an option. My kids are young today, but if I’m going to spend 6 figures on a camper, I expect I’ll be using it well into their teenage years.
If I was going to install something to mount a privacy curtain on, I think I’d go for a strip of steel so I could mount the curtains with magnets. Makes it easy to pull the curtain off entirely if you want, or slide it to the side or whatever, new curtains can easily be hung for when the kiddo decides he prefers Batman to Spider-Man.
Absolutely! We could easily add that for you if you wanted it. 😀
@@jguil4d Yes, we have some options to add the curtains. Very easy to do. Thanks for the comment. 😀
I love the 21.4 but I’m assuming the 16.4 would be better for me since I’d be towing with a 21’ F150 powerboost correct?? I was looking at this video for the 21.4 thinking I was good to go until I heard the recommendation of a f250 or similar. Sold my class A and down sizing so still brushing up on the towing/pulling knowledge.
Thank you Shane. Very good as always.
thanks for this very informative video. As a wanna be off roader, you make me feel I can hit the wilderness. thanks, keep up the great work.
Excellent!
I am so impressed by you guys trailer I’m going to by one TAKE MY CARDNOW!
Great tour and great trailer!!
Amazing trailer!!
Thanks! Great trailer. I wish it had a connection to the portable washer(76 gallon should serve the purpose) and/or maybe dryer. I saw Australian, Chinese and European trailers have even build in. If the trailer cost so much additional $600 $800 won't change much but will add convenience 😊. Thanks again for the great videos.
Thanks much for the comment and the super thanks! It is very appreciated! :)
Good stuff! Thanks guys
Our pleasure!
I love it
We pick ours up this week (with the composting toilet...😎 and the additional 600w solar option. I wish we had opted for the 1000Ah batteries! I also regret not getting the StarLink connections, but this is such a good setup, I'm sure we won't be disappointed!
@sahrnyandemoh1097 Congratulations!
Very nice 👍
Plus 1 for Maynard and ROA.
Would be nice to put the stationary bed on the back of the trailer and turn it into a private room with a sliding door and have blackout curtains. You know after a long hike we always tend to want to sleep in the following day or if your partner wants to cook, clean, watch a movie without disturbing you😅
Love the bunks! Only thing it is missing is maybe a little mesh-net next to the outlet on the side. That way you can put your phone someplace while it charges and maybe a book or something.
Great tour on the 21.4... like the booth option in the 20.3..but.... if they could make one with a booth the same size as the euv19...that would be a game changer
Yeah! But enough space with those bunks
100% agree on the booth like the 20.3. not sure how much extra space it would give (not sure it would be enough / a possible design) but i'd be ready to trade some of the back storage space and give it to the bunks so that extra space inside can be used to fit a booth instead of the desk. And get rid of the table by the bed and those black sockets on the floor. Great trailer.
Thank you for eliminating the black tank, and finding a better use for it
Who needs a black tank?
Shane, thanks so much for providing awesome in-depth tours.
I am seriously looking for an off-road RV and attracted to the off road versions as a 32 year retired veteran who loves the great outdoors.
Shane, on your Roamer I.....would you be open to making the bed like IN the 2024 Jayco Feather Lite....?
In Roamer and pause, if you were open to adding a backside slide out, you would totally change the game, perhaps in the Roamer II you can do it.
Thanks for the comment and input. We are always looking for ways to improve 😀
What’s the range of temperatures this beauty can handle? Has that been tested yet? I know Moab can get hot and if you do any winter camping there’s some spots in Utah that can get super cold too.
now if only they built a 40ft box for crazies like me that want to overland in a rv, i really appreciate their dedication to redundant systems and consumer input. i just wish they could add a few more features and have a more focused utility area so you arent running around trying to deal with multiple systems
That shower curtain has got to go! Makes it look cheap. I like the auto roll shower curtains that squeegee the door. Might be cool to have an emergency brake for the trailer brakes when it’s disconnected or anytime you want them on for less movement. Also the washer/dryer is a must! I’d take that over an onboard generator any day. You can bring along a portable generator but you can’t bring along a portable washer dryer. Max out those gray tanks! Serviceable panels underneath to access tanks, lines, heaters, and electrical would be awesome. 👏 Even if I needed to swap out one of the tanks give us access to it so I can make it happen. I’ve seen a few units have fully removable bottom panels, how cool is that?
It would be nice to have removable panels on the bottom to access tanks and internals
All the panels underneath the trailer can be removed. They’re not easy access but you can access stuff if you needed to.
Great content. I’m subscribing! I would recommend lowering the audio level on your background music. It is a bit distracting.
Amazing! It's possible to replace The outdoor fridge for a washing machine? Thanks
That’s a great idea. If your are serious about this unit and want to know feel free to contact us and we can look into some washer dryer options and potentially do that. Text 801-860-0035
Will you please please build a Pause 18 ft long with the same set up as 16.4
Drum brakes? (sad face) They also need to replace the Fantastic Fans with Maxxair Deluxe Fans. Just about everything else is awesome! Especially that new lift bed!
Nice trailer. I see that the rug comes right up to the stairs at the door. Do you have a small catch all tray to catch any thing falling off the stairs, when they're folded up?
@carls1959 We don't have that, sorry!
Would they have the option to not get the bunk bed version like a 21.3?
I would be very happy if some of those compartments had locks
All of them lock
Wish make 1 like this with No little holes for Dogs to sleep.put in Washer combo ..❤
the Pause trailers are very well equipped and appear to be high quality, but i have to wonder how much the weight of the electronic/battery stack and wheel/tire combo at the back of the trailer affects the balance of the camper?.....especially since the trailer is tall and has a stubby a-frame at the front. seems to me a half-ton with a heavy duty tow package (12-13k lbs) should be able to handle this camper (assuming the weight of those items were placed lower and more evenly throughout the camper)
Did I hear that right the tires are 225/75r16?
I would totally remove the outdoor kitchen and add a washer/dryer combo on the back of the trailer to utilize that big open space. Why, have a mini fridge outside when you have a giant fridge & freezer inside? Me Personally is a waste of space. I would rather have an actual grill/smoker outside.
Was thinking the same thing. It would make this a true FULL TIME option. I would add a screen door out back and apply hook style removable steps to allow for space while traveling 🙂
As we are wishing here a outside door into the bathroom like the bruder would finish this out with the w/d.
If you switch to the bed that raises at the head, are you still able to put the table up at the foot of the bed with its two legs?
No. There is no space for that.
Would you need a weight distribution hitch while towing this?
That always depends on the tow vehicle. Some people say you should always tow with a WD but it can be personal preference if you have a large truck.
Louisiana Experience Center (Gulf Coast)
Love seeing new trailers from you guys, amazing work!!! But I gotta ask, WHO loves the pickles?!! They are in EVERY trailer fridge you guys show!!!😂😂
Shane loves the pickles! Good eye! Lol
Can this trailer be pulled with a 2021 Ram 1500 limited with 5.7L Hemi?
We couldn't recommend that. It looks like your the Tow Capacity of your truck is approximately 8Klbs. The max you should tow with your truck is around 80% of rated capacity. That means that anything over 6400lbs should make you hesitant to tow very far! We would recommend the 2500
I think you guys blew it. Why the heck wouldn't you make that lower bunk come out and have it connect to that back door?
I've been seeing a bunch of videos about 5th Wheels having Frame Flex issues lately. Do these offroad RV's experience the same thing?
Anything can potentially have frame flex. The Pause trailer purposely use Huck rivet frame to allow for flex and vibration. The frames are extremely strong compared to any other trailer.
Is the Pause warranted against frame failures that causes the pieces to delaminate and come apart like the 5th Wheels?@@ROAOffRoad
Like the comment about adding a booth where the bed is like the 19
is a airbagged powerwagon enough truck for this trailer?
@@TheTeaguecowley No, 2500 Diesel is what we recommend
@@ROAOffRoad Why is that? Its within the PowerWagon tow ratings?
@@TheTeaguecowley We have towed it many times with our power wagon with airbags and it does not feel comfortable towing. We would strongly recommend against towing this unit with a power wagon. The new Reboot 19.6 tows great behind the power wagon.
@@ROAOffRoad I have a R2 sprung air bagged power wagon, is it mainly weight that is the concern?
$137,000!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
You know you're not supposed to be on your phone while you drive, right?
It looks great but every floorplan I see sucks so if you have bad weather, you’re all in there like sardines, although you think it might be fun, but I for a few hours tensions rising
Off-Road RVs have to make some compromises. If you go too large, then that limits the number of trails and obstacles that you can take your trailer over, but like you pointed out, too small and you might feel cramped! Perhaps a 5th wheel is more your style?
I love so many of the off road features such as the suspension and airbags, the Garmin system and the gigantic solar/battery. The rear storage, the layout of the electrical & water systems, the outdoor kitchen and the 4 season insulation of everything is outstanding. These are all features that even those of us who don’t necessarily want to go off-road would like to have. I currently have an Airstream Flying Cloud 27FB with 2nd air conditioner (ducted), desk (stand up), and bunk bed over twins. It also has lots of internal storage. Internally, it is very comfortable. What I don’t like is the limited solar/battery/inverter (being addressed in the new Trade Wind model), the inability to warm the tanks and drain pipes without running the furnace (Basecamp has tank heaters but still has exposed tank drain pipes which will freeze) & general lack of organized systems such as the power and water on the Pause. I actually question how much the designers and executive staff at Airstream use their product. The 1000 amp inverter powers some limited outlets but not the GFCI outlets which includes the external outlet which I always use when boondocking. So, basically I want a Pause and an Airstream to have a baby! As far as pause improvements, don’t like the metal internal cabinets & doors as they are loud, cold and actually cheap looking. Also, just not very much storage and the front bed is just too exposed and lacks privacy.
Glass duck needs a little cbd
@@gregmoessner3104 that’s all you have to say about it you’re just a troll dude that has no meeting
the bruner is way better ... is this completely water tight nope the inside all plastic that when something breaks like plastics always do going from hot to cold weakening over time i like this don't get me wrong but if bruda needs this suspension and it be no way beat able i'd still pick brudda
Definetely need time stamps.
We will work on that! Good idea!
@@ROAOffRoad What's the smallest truck you would use to tow this, especially off road, since that is what this is meant for? You think the new 2025 Ramcharger would be good for this?
Like It would be nice if you stayed on topic of the item your showing and stop explaining how you thought about building the motor to put in the truck to get you too an island to catch a boat you get the picture I hope
I called talked to them too.about. washer&dryer combo..still don't see it
There more people working on things too.try calling ROA never get live person sales got be good I guess or just
Not sure if you are saying you didn't get ahold of someone when you called? We do not have any type of robot so not sure what you are talking about? You can text 801-860-0035 or call that number and you will get a human right away. :)
It is so top heavy.... Pretty useless in serious, off road conditions 😮
When you’re watching them actually do the rock crawling I don’t see your point.
