"Strangers are friends you haven't made yet" means something else to a necromancer.
necromancer translation i think would be "strangers are friends you havent killed and reanimated yet"
@@mrroboshadow don't give us a bad reputation, we don't have to kill to make our friends, we can raise a family even without that
Interesting I said this to my neighbor and now when they see me they run.
Necromancer: "They told me to make more friends. Yet when I did they got mad, that's not what they meant."
alchemists:I know they kept saying “Its not natural” or “it’s an atrocity to everything” I think their just jealous I have a Best friend and they don’t
Who cares if the homunculus occasionally blurts out “kill me” he’s just playing around
@@vixshire3672 thanks, now I'm reminded of FMA again...
@@Voron_Aggrav what no way My TOTALLY creative comment reminded you of a show about the same people.
Also, do you recognize this dog? It keeps calling for an Edward
@@vixshire3672 Mate, take this Solar Panel and go sit on the roof and think about what you've done,
And Yes I Said that as a confirmation that you Reminded me of that scene...
@@Voron_Aggrav (uh what’s the solar panel a reference to?) I’m outside so uhh does that count it’s raining out here
Extra heads are really good at stopping your units being instantly killed by decapitation especially if they are able to regenerate.
Everyone says roguelike but no one asks the rogue what they like.
@Aavak if I remember correctly then the Distiliiery has a chance to spawn rats, which you can kill, which leave corpses... now do the necromancer math
Hmm... interesting!
Don't forget to use elevation for your dungeon. A well hidden Phylactery has saved my buns from enemy raids more than I care to admit. As long as you have that, necromancers can rebuild after a superior force kicking your door in.
27:03 Don't call it "breaking a tool", consider it more akin to sharpening a blade... you file off the excess bits to get to the nice sharp layer underneath!
I'm leaning more towards wanting a Hector playthrough for this necromancer cause even though the game says there's only 1 population in the base, he still went to the trouble of naming every skeledog instead of just calling them skeledogs like the sekelton warriors.
That is very true!
This was fantastic! Can't quite believe I haven't seen this before. Really look forward to maybe seeing more of this Aavak!
Damn it. Every time Aavak say's 'Skeletons' I keep hearing "Skeleton Warriors!!" in the background...
15:35 Now I just have the mental image of a party managing to reach the Necromancer clothed in a wide black cloak, "Ah yes you think you have won" *Drops Cloak revealing that he's got a body like Armstrong from FMA (Absolutely buff)* "But the fight has only just begun"
That is an awesome mental image XD
"Could I stick 50 arms on this thing and make 25 attacks?"
Then you're obligated to call the Zombie King "Godrick The Grafted".
as a mythology fan id be tempted to call it "hecatoncheir" but on the other 50 hands those have 100 not just 50
@@mrroboshadow If you have a 50-armed monster, you can call it whatever you want, and anyone who disagrees can argue their point with the monster's 50 arms and/or pointy sticks held by those arms.
@@dmitriisuvorov1930 it's indeed not a case of who's right, it's more a case of who's left
Necromancer with wolf riding minions? Aavak has gone full Sauron! Excited to see your forces of evil overtake the helpless villagers!
Would love to weigh-in, but I'm afraid I do not know the Hector v. Isaac comparison.
Always a delight to listen to another Aavak Adventure of Evil Dapperness!
Oh, absolutely an Isaac. He doesn’t even totally consider them tools. Just mostly.
We don't make friends, we create them! - Necromancers, probably.
Probably XD
Yes love this not many people do more then one hour hope to see a good run
Necromancer: doing an unboxing video for UA-cam.
Everyone else at the funeral:
O_O
I hope to see more! Always love seeing you play this game
OH MY GOD KEEPERRL IS BACK!!!
31:30 ....Aavak, why would you ever give up a choke point you can hold to force the enemy into a 6v1 (remember, mounts!) situation, letting them come out and attack you in the open instead? EDIT: Ah, you are keeping them as livestock, instead of just relying on natural spawns. I see. Also, it's "balsam", not "balm". >_> Also also, vulnerability to sunlight doesn't seem to do damage, just weakens them.
happy chair wiggle dancing, woot soo happy
Guess who's back, back again
Ahhh, some Evil Aavak, always fun and interesting.
Man, the ability for old dungeons to appear in game for some reason gave me a hard flashback to "Towns" one of the first and few early access games to make me feel burned. Anyone else remember that one?
I try to forget that I own a copy 😝
I don't know if multiple heads will help in this game, but they do say that two heads are better than one. Maybe they were talking about skeletal warriors the whole time.
Good to hear you Aavak. It's been a while as I've been busy. Now I'm quite sick, and you are always good to watch if I'm not feeling well. Thank you for all your hard work. You have helped more people than you will ever know. I hope you, and my fellow watchers, have a wonderful day.
Necromancer: I don't meet new friends, I make new friends out of my enemies body parts.
Wow! It has been quite some time since the last time I've watched you play this game.
Love this update
I originally found your channel because I needed some tips for beating this game. Glad to see you playing it again
More episodes please!
It is always a pleasure to see you guide a new keeper into some incredible adventures. I'm curious to see how necromancy plays out. With skeleton warriors riding skeleton wolves, it sure is off to a great start.
This is actually my first time seeing this! I would love to see a lot more & have this be a series :>
Amazing, was just thinking how cool it would be for Aavak to do some more on this game. Any plans for this to make it into the streams at some point?
I would love more episodes and I don't know who those two people are
Awesome game, ty for the playthrough!
I HAVE BEEN REWATCHING THIS SERIES ON AND OFF FOR YEARS I AM SO HAPPY FOR A RETURN 😭💕
May you be blessed with many a ferret business kissies Aavak 🎶 (I will also throw in some rat kissies because my four serotonin potatoes have many to give as well)
Do need to find out if traps are really not a thing for necromancers
Admit being Isaac would be easier
"A smack around the chops" xD
Yes, more please!
MOAR!
Keeperrl is 1.0 now my dude, any chance you’ll return soon?
High probability!
Always love watching you play this game!
im seeing the undead beating akin to how you cut up the shackled zombie in Graveyard Keeper: it feels good to them, so its an act of kindness/encouragement.
It was less that it felt good so much as he was so starved for physical stimulation even pain was preferable to the alternative. It is like trying to ignore an itch that won't go away. After awhile it is all you can think about. His pleasure was the relief of having that particular itch scratched. Now he can allow his mind to dwell on other things. Makes you wonder what he would do if you freed him like you were warned against.
So far good hope to see alot more of it
So much glorious !!
This game takes me back to better times... It's one of the games I don't think I have the inclination to get into myself, but I love watching Aavak play it. More videos of this would certainly be watched.
This update is awesome - more episodes of this please! And I'm an Isaac...
Moar!
Roguelike colony builder with dungeons
Finally back to KeeperRL! Keeper it up! ^^
Necromancer faction is limited by corpses
Make more friends from your neighbours
when is the norselands coming back
I really love the vibe of this! #teamissac
40:43 - ... you want a fountain, in a library? That's going to be terrible for document preservation, you'll have moisture and mildew everywhere.
I suspect that the zombie king is made from only the best parts, one each, of 199 corpses. Which makes me think that there should be a "waste not, want not" ability which additionally gives you a factory-second zombie for each corpse you use.
Hoping to see more of this game
Overall enjoyed the video and can't wait to see more!
I think the zombies and other creatures regain health and move faster if you give them beds to rest in, I know that the dining table gives them extra movement as well because of the "well fed", or something like that, buff. Or at least that's how it was when I last played it, though the popup that said something about the skeletons no longer being well fed and well rested while you were out scouting makes me think its still in the game.
this series is great and im glad to see it return
but watching Avaak play this also makes me yearn for some good old dwarf fortress (possibly even some cataclysm:dda)
now whether thats the classic version or the new version that is in the works i'll leave up to Avaak himself if/when he chooses to play it
More Good boys plz
Bones into minions.
That was cool.
More please!!
What is he refrencing to when he said Isaac and Hector?
The Netflix Castlevania series :)
just... yes.
Really enjoyed this! Looking forward to more.
Lets go.
Skeleton archers mounted on wolves would be a beastly combo.
Hector and Issac. Yes. Good reference. Also, poor hector.
Ah, it's been a while! :D Happy to see this game again!
This looks pretty... brains... interesting and I'm... brains... looking... brains... forward to seeing more of... brains... this.
You might have traps but you can create a ambush point.
Just make a walk way with pits on the side to separate it from a room where your archers/magic users to kill from a distance.
Interesting idea!
I really enjoyed your last series of this game, can't wait to see more of this!
