I was wearing my Esprit in same color today. It's so easy to wear. Hearing that TSA story again made me laugh because I can just imagine that agent's confusion. Hi Marlene, I just got back from vacation & brought 3 wigs. I wore the same wig when we would be with the same people 2 days in a row. My question is about changing wigs on a cruise (wearing different styles, lengths, & hair colors each day). Did strangers ask you about it? What did you say? Did others on the cruise wear multiple wigs like you? Did you not care what others thought? (like I do around here)Thanks! I never knew who to ask about this 🥰
Hi Beautiful, I changed my wigs 2 or 3 times on some days. I doubt that with a few thousand people on the ship any one would notice; if they did, no one ever said anything. If they would have, I would have said thank you! It's a wig. Honestly, I don't think I saw the same person twice. Now at the small hotel I stayed in Barcelona for a week, they noticed I went to breakfast with one color & length, to dinner with one totally different. LOL, they never said anything but I have no doubt they noticed. No, I really don't care what others think. I wear what I like. xoxo Marlene

I'm so happy to be able to inspire! Yes!!! Do what makes you happy and your heart dance. If you want to wear the same style and color for a month, do it. If you want to wear a pixie to breakfast, a bob for lunch, and a 23" for dinner, do it. Your vacation, your life, and you should enjoy it. 💜💜
I would love to know what you recommend for a 23" head. I'm having a hard time finding. Low density, perhaps hand tied lg wigs. I know some of the average can fit 23" .
Hi Beautiful, thank you so much for visiting. First, I'll say that one of our admins in the FB group has a 23"+, 12.25" ear to ear, and 13.25" front to back. She wears Belle Tress, Estetica, Henry Margu, Envy, and many Ellen Wille. If you'd like a hand-tied low density, I feel Jon Renau Lites are the roomiest fitting well over 23" Jon Renau hand-tied by far have the most stretch and the styles from the Lite collection have low density. Belle Tress Lux collection are all hand-tied and will fit 23" Hand-tied caps will not have any permatease and both the Lites and Belle Tress will be light density. My only caution is to stay away from Raquel Welch or Ellen Wille partially hand-tied. These will have wefts at the nape covered with a soft material that have no stretch and therefore will run smaller. While in Ellen Wille a 100% hand-tied will fit over 23", in Raquel Welch there are no 100% hand-tied. If you are looking at a particular style, let me know. If I've reviewed it or worn it, I'll be happy to let you know about the density. xoxo Marlene

I am from Scotland. I have been to all those places in Europe. So different from Florida. I have travelled all over Florida many times. 19 wigs 😂
Hi Laura, thank you for visiting! Oh, how I love Scotland; it stole my heart. I was in Glasgow for a few days, a week in Isle of Skye (LOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and a week in St Andrews. Truly a beautiful country, the nicest people, and the best food. After having mussels in Scotland, I could never bring myself to eating them again in Florida. LOL, yes, I think 19 wigs was a bit of an overkill. 😂 xoxo Marlene

Hi, thank you so much! I am feeling better. I must have caught something on the plane or cruise, but it was worth it. I did have a great time. Happy I made you laugh, LOL! I saw a comment (not sure where it went to. YT is acting whacky lately). My first language is Spanish. Calabasas was named by the Spaniards so when I see words that are Spanish origin, I tend to pronounce them that way without even thinking. Calabasas is derived from Calabazas, the Spanish word for pumpkin or squash. Some say the name was given by the Spaniards as a tribute to the pumpkin patches found there. In any case, my apologies for pronouncing the word in Spanish rather than English. xoxo Marlene

Hi Marlene, lomg time, no see. I've been off UA-cam for quite a while as I've been ill. You look wonderful as always and your trip sounds just brilliant? I need to ask a question and i thought I'd ask my favourite original wig expert. I currently have no wig shampoo (or conditioner)due to me having to move states in a very short time period. My Belle Madame Leonora is looking very ordinary and it needs washing. Can you possibly suggest something that is an alternative to wig shampoo and conditioner? It'll only be this one time as my usual wig products will be sent to me within a few weeks. Any information/advice will be very much appreciated. Thank you. Tracy (from Australia/💚
Tracy, my friend! So nice to see you! I'm so sorry you've been ill. I hope you're feeling better. Honestly, Tracy, you can use whatever you have on hand to wash your wig since it'll only be a one time or so use. If you have baby shampoo, use it. If you have regular shampoo/conditioner, fabric softener (just a drop in cool water), 1 T of baking soda dissolved in cool water (place the wig in the water for about 5 minutes), rinse well under cool running water, then condition with fabric softener (just a drop in the water) and rinse well under cool running water. Any of these will work. Stay well & stay in touch, Beautiful! Let me know if any of these work for you! Much love and many hugs! xoxo Marlene

Yes, the very first one where I'm sitting outside wearing the grey top. That's Anatolia by Belle Tress in Brown Sugar Sweet Cream. I love that wig. It's very low density. LOL, I think I got it right this time. xo
