Sorry, locking a horse in a tiny box for most of the day is not "letting horses be horses". ESPECIALLY, a mustang.
That said, she apparently cares for them quite well all things considered.
She is an amazing rider who really loves her horses too, a real pleasure to see!

You live my dream life. I drive 2 hours a day and work for 8 so that I can keep my horses at someone else's place and wave at them as I drive by. I'd love to spend more time with them and put more work in but there's only so many hours in the day and here in the chilly North, the hours with light are getting fewer and fewer this time of year.
I love Rune's personality. I've followed your work with him from the beginning and really enjoyed watching him blossom. You have to just loved how he's turned out, but know that most of it's come from him and less from his training.
Please continue publishing your videos. It always brings me, as a fellow horse person, joy when I get the notification that a new one has been posted.
I can't wait till next week! It's a lot of fun seeing your horses, and how you do things around the barn!
Love it! Any chance we can see a "how-to" on getting your horse to come over when you whistle? Mine gives me a blank look/horsey middle finger and goes back to grazing. ;)
Kendall Church So,many years later. I have had the opposite problem. Can’t work on fences or paddocks. They constantly follow me around, deliberately knocking over my wheelbarrow. They think it’s funny. Have to lock them in their stalls.

Did you ever get Arlequin's DNA results? He's so unique I'm curious as to what color his coat really is.
You're totally right- I do wonder what it is. They look like grey goggles but they're obviously not, because he would've greyed by now. So I wonder.
EDIT: She said those are characteristic of appaloosas, but mustangs can really be any colors :)
@@heyitsdusk yeah I'd love to know what his DNA is too. Definitely leopard complex characteristics there (Appy), and there are Appy's in mustang herds... but his markings are kinda unique... wow!
