That left hand 🤯
That bass figure that Wright is playing on the vibes under it all is killer. It really creates the character for everyone else to play off of. Marcus’s play is, as always, an inspiration. Power with control and complexity with a solid groove. Love it.
Great tune, great players. Marcus never disappoints.
Crazy!
Two words " I Wish " my life dreams would come true if only one day I can sound anywhere Cole to this at 63! Never give up look at his grandfather amazing
It doesn’t get any better than Marcus
Loving all this. I feel like the cymbals Marcus uses here and how the drums are tuned never get in the way sonically of the other players. Very unique!
That flat ride kills me!! With some 16 inch hats?? Love it
Loved watching you Lewis tonight Birmingham England with Julian Bliss. Made my day. You are incredible. Thank you guys for making my day 💜
Mesmerized . Bass part of the Vibe player is haunting in a beautiful way. fun to play to
Marcus 🌠🔥
That bass figure is amazing, for once i can’t even pay as much attention to Marcus who is one of the best to ever do it imo , y’all are scary
This is real magic
Elvin Jones kind of phrasing ... looseness!!!! love it
My man
Mad vibes!
Wooooosh! Incredible
truly awesome
This is CRAZY!
amazing! the abiance ... it tells a story. true jazz.
So excellent
Magnifico!! Y además con mi base rítmica preferida!!
Amazing tune and performance!
Amazing playing
Fun!!!
Hi Lewis, this just popped up on my feed. Small world. Love the tune chap, great to see you play again. Hope all is well? Danny Howard
I've been searching for a while that right side ride sound... I think the closest to it in an attainable product is the Istanbul Xist Dry Dark Brilliant Crash 21". It still lacks a bit of that stick definition but the trashiness when crashed is there
That modified K from Marcus is just special...
It really is an exceptional sound. Check out the Murat Diril Superior Golden Jazz 22" ride for the most similar I've found. They're paper thin, super rare, and expensive AF, but I tracked one down from an importer and will never let it go--it's a special one!
Oh wao! You're absolutely right, closest one I've heard so far. I'll try to track one down
Anyone know what left side flat ride he's playing? Yes that metallophoner's left hand is maddingly top shelf.
A Zildjian K flat ride...looks to be the normal K flat, not K Light (which has deep hammer marks) nor K Custom.
Any idea about what ride he's playing on the right side? K Custom Dark Complex?
@@12tayloaush I want to say a K Custom Special Dry Ride 21 inches. Maybe the same one he played in his Zildjian Live Session.
The one on the right is a altered K. He mentioned that its a K but with a brilliant finish, which zildjian doesnt sell in regular lines. Not sure which exact K model it is, but yeah customized with clusters extra hammering and a brilliant finish
His left foot !?!?!?!?!?!?!
Cymbal setup??
4:25 5:10 5:34
What ride is that on the right???
It's custom made for him by Zildjian. Check out the Murat Diril Superior Golden Jazz 22" ride for the most similar I've found.
Who knows the cymbals?!?
There's some info above on his setup.
ouch! out of phase... :-/
Que aburrido...
