Hi Thanks for all the comments on the video, I haven't looked st this channel for a while, so apologies for not updating the link. You should now be able the use the DropBox link in the description. the spreadsheet has changed a lot over the last couple of years, it now allows UL and DL planning and much better control over capacity planning and some simple analysis of VolTE capacity. I should really make another video on this spreadsheet...
Thanks for this video and the one of RSRQ/RSRP. You clearly explained things :-) One question on the Link Budget Spreadsheet. In the "BW & Rx Sens" worksheet you have SNR figures for the different modulation schemes based on (I think) AWGN with a 1% BER. What was the source/computation for these figures? Thanks Andy
Great video! I fully didn't think of adding the financial bit at the end until I saw this. Mind if I ask where you got your references for some of the numbers/equations?
Hello Dave, an excellent one, how we can add the 1800 and 2100 in the sheet as FDD? Do we need to add the spectrum information as well or not? because i didn't found anywhere in the sheets? Thanks
in general, yes, however it is important to make sure actual vendor specific values, SINR, Rx NF and other factors are used, the figures SINR figures in the updated spread sheet are from a specific vendor!. As far as i know the SINR should not be massively different across different frequency bands
Anil Agrawal Hi Anil, I've been looking that myself this week, and thinking about adding more useful features too, wifi offload that kind of thing. But feel free to play around with the sheet, you can unlock each sheet, there are no passwords

I really do love people that share their knowledge and experience like you do. 😊
Awesome. Thx for sharing this sheet. 🤓👍
nice work dave....
Hello Dave. Thank you for this great tool! Is it possible to modify it for the 450 MHz band as well?

I also would like to know the source of the AWGN with a 1% BER table

Hi Dave, nice work! have u made any upgrades? if so could you share it with us?
Dave, Great spreadsheet.Very helpful. Do you plan to enhance it by adding more frequencies, carrier aggregation and/or MIMO effects? Thanks! Gilbert
Hi Dave!
The LTE Link Budget Spread Sheet is not in Dropbox anymore...
Is there any chance you could share it again?
Thank you,
Leo Prates
Hi Dave!
Could you please share the excel sheet. I can't find it in the dropbox link.
Thanks and Regards,
Ashutosh
is it possible for you to share this spead sheet, it would be really useful ?
Hi Dave, Thank you very much for reply. So if someone wants to calculate link budget, this result is true, and can be used? for different frequency?
in general, yes, however it is important to make sure actual vendor specific values, SINR, Rx NF and other factors are used, the figures SINR figures in the updated spread sheet are from a specific vendor!. As far as i know the SINR should not be massively different across different frequency bands
is it possible to share the sheet used during this tutorial ?
Dave,
Could you tell me how to locate your spreadsheet and tell me if it has been updated? The link you have mentioned does not work anymore.
GGGGG

Hi Dave, can we use the spreadsheet for LTE Advanced ?
Dear Sir,
could you please put one for WCDMA?
many thanks
Where can I get this spread sheet!?
can you please share your spreedsheet ?
Hi Dave, this is EXCELLENT! Would it be possible to share the spreadsheet? Hope to hear back from you soon. Thanks in Advance!
Hi Anil, I've added a dropbox link to the description, hopefully you can access the file from there, thanks for your comments
dave mcnally Thanks a bunch, Dave!

Dave, any chance of adding UL analysis? Or, maybe I should take a stab at it ;-))
Anil Agrawal Hi Anil, I've been looking that myself this week, and thinking about adding more useful features too, wifi offload that kind of thing. But feel free to play around with the sheet, you can unlock each sheet, there are no passwords
Actually, I want to do UL analysis for LTE-U but have been distracted for last couple of weeks with other stuff at work... Will try it next week..
can you please send me your spreadsheet?
hii.. the link doesn't work...
I think that is work kindly dl again
