Please check the fact that the amendment line is not for owner ,it is for the tenant some time the title of tenancy is on the name of father but a son is staying in that property or if on father's death his son can file the suit because of this amendment

'...Through him he has been in possession or any person...'means any person who has been placed in the possession through the person who is dispossessed. Like, in Landlord and tenant case, it would not mean that Landlord can also file the suit..it would mean that someone who has been in possession through tenant (unlawful subtenant maybe) can also file the suit. Correct me if I am wrong.

I think he means tenant (example) or any person through whom he has been in possession means through whom the tenant has been in possession that is the owner.

Ek husband ne uski divorce ke bad ladki ka dahej rok liya hai or uska kehna hai ki proof do or saman le jao or ladki ke pas sirf saman ki receipt hai lakin shadi ke time ladke ko diya iska proof nahi, lakin ladki pas kuch receipt zaroor hain jisse ye sabit hota h ki ladki walo ne khareeda hai saman lakin ladke ko diya ye proof nahi (video recording ya photos tak nahi) ...isme civil suit file hoga ya criminal case (498A) file hoga????

It is wrong to say that a landlord also can file suit under section 6 of the amended SRA 2018 (under summary proceeding). For landlord only section 5 is available to do so
