- Reviewing the Falken wild peak a/t trail tire. An all terrain tire specifically designed for compact suv's and crossover vehicles. I put a set on my Subaru Crosstrek and let you know my thoughts on these tires
How these tires perform on different surfaces on and off road like gravel, snow, winter, sand, mud and rocks
The other tires would be the falken wild peaks at3w compared to the at trail which is better for crossovers and which tires you should buy
Nitto nomad vs falken wildpeak at trail.

We just installed these on our 2023 Subaru Forester Sport. They look and ride great. Can't wait to take them out on our next SoCal camping trip! Happy Trails!
Great review. I'm getting a set of these mounted to gold Sparco Terras for my Cypress green Outback.
14 xt lifted on rough country lifted struts 2 inches wrapped in stock sized peaks , had my peaks about a year great tire great look great xcelent grip and does well on dirt
Good video. Cool tires. ✌️
I love the general grabber ats. They are also a great off road tire I've gone through everything with them. I have 62000km on mine and they are wearing down but I will just buy another set. I do light overlanding offroading and they are great. I have a Jeep Cherokee trailhawk
I am planning to get these tires, thanks for sharing
Glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching
very excellent Cabin noise review
Glad you liked it!
Just ordered some Falken Wildpeak AT Trails for my 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk and can’t wait to see the improvement from the stock Falken Wildpeak H/T tires
You’ll love em, congrats on the purchase
Have been running these on my 2018 Ford Escape AWD for nearly a year & very impressed with their handling and lack of increased road noise.
Good to hear! Im just over a month on these now and the road noise is super impressive
yay baby
I have the AT/Trail on my 23 Explorer after ditching the Michelin Primacy's for something more suited to my lifestyle (hunting and fishing), been great so far even in early season snow in Ohio.
Thank you for your video! I’m seriously considering these in standard size for my 2021 Crosstrek Sport, but worried about road noise. It sounds like it’s not too bad.
So the noise is a lot less then the video, ended up having a bad wheel bearing and thought that was from the tires😅 the tires are pretty quiet and close to a normal touring tire for noise
@@dansedran Thanks Dan! That helps. I was at my Subaru dealer for a routine service and asked about those tires and was kinda talked out of them by the service tech telling me I would experience road noise. I don't mind a little road noise. I'll likely get these when my current OEM tires wear out. Thanks again for the info!
Have you driven in snow and ice yet? How do they do in rain? Thanks for the awesome content!
I went an entire canadian winter on them and while they dont quite match a dedicated winter tire they were pretty damn close! never had issue and grip was always there. Just noticed i could let it loose a little easier if i wanted to lo. In rain there is no issue at all!. Thanks for watching!
Had the Wildpeak AT3W on my 2017 Renegade Trailhawk and now I have the Wildpeak Trail on my 2018 Trailhawk Renegade
Which one do you like better?
We had the AT3's on our Renegade Trailhawk also... great tire, terrific performance, rugged looks!
Looks like a good one for my lifted legacy.
Ive seen a lifted legacy with the falkens before and it looked mint 👌
Wouldn't it make more sence to pick a trail that would be mildly difficult for my 94 camry on all seasons?
Are these Tires Rated A for both traction and temperature?
When you say road noise is '"not bad", are you comparing it to the regular road tyres that were OE on your Crosstrek? I've previously used Bridgestone Dueller A/T and Yokohama Geolandar A/Ts on my full-size 4×4 and both were silent when new but the Dueller got really noisy like a bad wheelbearing half way while the Geos remained silent till the end of its life. Now I drive a smaller crossover type SUV on regular tyres and debating whether I should switch to this type of tyre at all or just stick with pure road tyres.
Yeah, if you’re comparing them to other all-terrain’s, then they are silent. Most people driving crossovers are going to be upgrading from a typical low tread passenger Street tire, where they would notice a minor increase in noise, so thats who it was geared towards. You wouldnt notice any, if you ran duellers or geo’s
If you live in snow country, all terrain tires is the only way to go.
I wonder if the stock Geolanders would have performed just as well in those tests?
most likely, the tests weren't that hard but just to give a bit of an idea of what to expect
How are they on noise on the highway? I regularly drive the 401 and back roads of Burlington, Milton, acton and some of the roads are unrepaired and full of potholes. So I need a tire that can handle that and also be quiet compared to my winter tires as they sound like AT tires
So the noise is a lot less then the video, ended up having a bad wheel bearing and thought that was from the tires😅 the tires are pretty quiet and close to a normal touring tire for noise
So far though, very happy with them
@@dansedran nice. A tire shop next to where I work is selling them for $217 each. Is that approximately what you paid?
@@kevinW826 I paid $219 a tire but close enough. There is a $80 rebate going on too
@@dansedran over 200 is 2 much for a tire.
Any rubbing? Do you have a lift?
No rubbing, no lift either. Actually planning on going up a half inch in whee size and still should clear the wheel well
Teeyota?
when you get a chance.....try in the snow.
will definitely be making a snow review video
@@dansedran Please do. Those of us who are daily drivers in the upper Midwest would most appreciate it !
Dude I've taken trails harder that that in my jeep patriot with bald ass street tires
Happy for ya
No one is suspicious about how the are being pushed by tire dealers? I’d say the made in China (along with made in Thailand) have a larger profit margin. The wear isn’t great. They aren’t great in the snow. Their biggest claim to fame is they are available in small sizes for the Subaru (and other CUV) crowd. While not a bad tire by any means, I’m totally suspicious as to why they are pushed so hard by dealers. Money is always at the root of the situation
Cheers
They've been great tires so far. Did a full canadian winter on ther and have put on 70k and they are holding up great. This was not a sponsored review and I payed for them with my own hard earned cash. That being said dealers could be pushing them because it's hard to pursuade people who already have their mind set on ''real'' all terrains like ko2's or at3w's so these trail all terrains have to ''prove themselves'' but also, its a good upgrade/upsell from regular road tires and business is business
My Accord could have done that !
