    I'm glad the comments are in agreement that what happened to that guy was sexual assault. Misconceptions like "men can't get raped" ultimately hurt everyone in the end, not just men.

    They are literally the Special Victims Unit... That guy was SA'ed and it feels like they just kind of shrugged it off, in fact, if it wasn't for Rollins' insistance that something was wrong, they never would've put in the effort to get to the bottom of what caused his irregular outburst.

The ice T character was trying to downplay it and make out it was locker room stuff and he secretly liked it and Benson couldn't understand how he didn't know the bar was a gay bar.     Sorry, but Olivia was ALWAYS a hypocrite when it came to male victims. She championed tooth and nail for the female victims, but always is willing to get it done quick and easy when it’s the male victims. SMH 🤦🏻‍♂️

    If this was a female victim who had consented and was blindfolded, only to find out she was being used by another man she never met before, Olivia will be blowing her top and setting NYC on fire. Because it's a male victim though, she thinks she's the 'voice of reason'.

    I remember this case. If I remember correctly, the guy dropped the charges in the end, but his life was still ruined. I also think something happened to him that had caused that reaction in the first place. The coach and several team members were arrested and one, who had helped take these guys down, told Amaro that he was quitting the team. The boy revealed that he's actually gay and he can't bring himself to spend the next however many years in the closet.

    I just don't understand this episode: The guy's initial assault was justified because the gay man kept coming at him after a solid "no." He didn't get hurt because he was gay, he was hurt because of his actions and not understanding consent.
    The guy was sexually assaulted, why didn't they arrest the gay guy and the two cheerleaders for that? They've arrested people for doing similar things in past episodes, why do these people get a pass?

    I felt so bad for Rollins during this episode. I know what it's like to try to go that extra mile to help a friend, so I can relate to how she felt throughout all of this.

      it's inappropriate to do that in a professional capacity, especially in an extra trusted role such as a police officer. Rollins and many of the other team constantly behaved unethically and abused their positions of power to help those close to them. Nepotism at its finest.

      I remember this case. If I remember correctly, the guy dropped the charges in the end, but his life was still ruined. I also think something happened to him that had caused that reaction in the first place. The coach and several team members were arrested and one, who had helped take these guys down, told Amaro that he was quitting the team. The boy revealed that he's actually gay and he can't bring himself to spend the next however many years in the closet.

    This was perhaps the 💩est and sloppiest writing ever in SVU. Cedric was sexually assaulted, his reaction in the bar, while over the top, is reasonable under the circumstances. The male cheerleader and those 2 female cheerleaders PLUS whiche football players should have been arrested. Should Cedric have been charged something for beating the gay dude up, sure; if the guy presses charges. Explain what happened to Cedric to the gay dude and I’m 1000% sure he would understand; then up to him to either press charges or drop it. The story could have been so much better; and more realistic than this hot mess.

      Its means that his Athletic eligibility is the same as a sophomore since he sat out 1 year (allowing him to extend is athletic eligibility) but academically hes a junior.

    I do feel bad for Olivia because I think she tries harder for woman then men is because her mom was raped and now I am seeing so was she.       not really for what they did to Cedric Jones and others Cedric Jones was the one who suffered since he was driving to commit suicide and his broken neck meant he could no longer play football and hence couldn't get his family out of poverty

    If anyone's curious, I read on the wiki that one of the cheerleaders came forward and revealed that this has been done at least four other times, the coach was in on it and took a plea deal, while several members of the team are arrested for aiding in the assaults.
