Sir me mechanical branch me obc category se hu...mera interview call aaya hai via gate 2019 score pe...rank b itne khaas nhi nhi...1402 hai...kafi low congidence feel krra hu..pata nhi hoga ya nhi..kyunki sail 1:12 ka ratio bulata h...sir koi idea batao kitne tak call aaya hai obc category ka..usse thoda idea lag jayega..

1. Very low attendance ( nearly 33%) is seen during interview by student attended interview. So your problem of 1:12 shortlisting is now 1:4.
2. No technical question asked yet to any one with whom I spoked, question on what are you doing presently and your project etc have been asked.
3. You rank is good in terms of obc, because as per information they have shortlisted open catagory person upto 1100(approx)
4. Gd 3 round and interview have 25% weightage so good chance of selection if your above rounds go good. And for that you have to be confident. That's what they are checking..

Be confident..You don't need waiting list to get selected you need a chance that's what I think..And I am sure you will get selected...Have faith in your self..
And yes it is possible 1800rank can get a call but 1100 confirm one of our student.
@@anonymous-hz1mf Don't worry about results as if now because you are now done with your part now wait for results and as your most of rounds were good you have a high probability of getting selected.
Interview have 15% weightage
And gd have 10% weightage. And your gate score 75% weightage. As there is not much difference in gate score for a person with 100 rank and person with 1000 rank on 100 scale as there 75% of gate score will have on 2-3 points difference on 100 scale. So interview and gd play important role in sail.
