There's so much love in the lyrics and the video. My 17 yr old son who has been stuck on all the "Rotten Rap" that demeans the soul even has begun to tune in to Mali Music! I praise Jesus for moving this young man to sing the "Praises" in his own Unique Way as it always will come back to the beginning and the end, which is Jesus. I have been in a marriage for 36 years now and having My spouse abandon Me two years ago, I must say that I was still recovering from brain surgery for TN. I am grateful for My life no matter what or who! There have been a great deal of things that I could say, however, I choose to say that no matter what/who God always causes His people to win (the scriptures say trump) because we are WINNERS WITH CHRIST we are WINNER only because of Him! Reconciliation has not been the recourse for us. I am still grateful to God for the experience and the opportunity to give unconditional love to a person who has not experienced it. Mali Music is a breath of fresh air to a genre that is so saturated by negativity. His gospel music is amazing and his R n B (now neo soul) is amazing too. His criticism for making this album is wack because he is an artist. Don't know if he has won a Stellar award for his music, but I do believe this album is Grammy worthy. I have a strong feeling if he makes another video off this album it would be out of "Walking Shoes" or "Fight For You". Those are my two favorite songs on the album but the whole album BANGS!
