I feel not only the Lord had given me a second chance after getting hit by that car walking home and going through both windshields God has a bigger plan for me and I asked the Lord for guidance and wisdom and understanding and direction and I feel he's leading me as I'm letting him and he's drawing people into my life like you JD thank you for always spreading the word and helping me a little bit more to understand more God bless you brother and us all who are reading this God is good always and he's always on time for the right reasons hallelujah amen and amen!!!! 💗👼🙏🙌🎺!!!! Such a wonderful, heartfelt message. I have wept so much and so often for what the Lord was showing me was coming. It took a lot of one on one time with the Lord for Him to help me understand the why and just how destructive sin is, but also how powerful the love of God actually is. One of the the most powerful realities I have ever come to fully understand is how Jesus left the 99 to go after the 1 lost sheep. I am not impressed with numbers of members of any church because I know just how much Jesus absolutely loves the 1 lost sheep who comes to know Him. All of Heaven rejoices when that 1 is saved. How exceptionally beautiful. 💖💖💖
Hard for me. All my family are atheists except a few. One is lukewarm and one has walked away. Meanwhile, I’m belittled and called crazy to have faith. They all have become super mean/angry/emotional. None see that it’s the endtimes. Also, one works for Planned Parenthood in leadership/administration over several states. She uses the “F” word a lot while screaming that the Supreme Court would even consider overturning Roe v Wade. The lack of respect and viciousness, meanness is what gets me the most. I’m pulling away which makes me sad.
@@pattyjacobson it can be very very difficult to contend with the wickedness in the world. Our relationship with the Lord is what helps us make it through until Jesus intervenes. I too have contended with many things, but it is the love of Jesus and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that has anchored me despite the increase in wickedness. I know it is difficult, but I want to encourage you to keep letting your light shine. Soon and very soon we will be with Jesus. 🙏🏻
@@pattyjacobson I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone in experiencing this... I've recently been going through something similar where I'm rejected by my own family, but I can tell you these things happening have caused me to run to God and I believe these situations help us draw nearer to Him...keep your head up and keep looking up because our redemption draws near!
@@pattyjacobson My family and my husbands family basically avoids us except for my dad who is a believer. It is sad. All I can do is pray for their hearts to not be so hard. I’m sorry,there are many who go through the same. ❤️🩹

Thabk You JD..you are one of the few pastors that speak the gospel.i grew up in a Baptist church, and I always felt like I was missing aomething. To make a long story short, I was an RN, and bcame addicted to narcotics for 10 yeara, lost just about everything in my life...i PRAISE THE LORD this happened because out of it, I got truly saved by the REAL GOSPEL in July, 2021. i now have peace, and am so humble .My husbamd and I were making ALOT of money before I became addicted. I now know why this happened, and I truly believe the addiction brought me to the real truth of Jesus Christ! I did lose my RN license, and am living paycheck to paycheck, however, the Lord God Almighty takes care of us..i feel like crying when writing this..Please pray for my 3 sons, that are not saves..i have planted the seed, waitimg for the Lord to increase..thank you so veey much for preaching the TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL!!

God spoke this scripture to me in my sleep last night. He added "The earth will expel angelic hosts" Dunno it's meaning yet. A storm is coming.
The Lord is near! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! A speeding driver killed a whole family all nine of them, they were on their way to visit their mom and eat with her, I went to their funeral, the girlfriend of one of them, a teen, cried the whole time with such pain. I don't speed anymore. Ecclesiastes 7:2.

Jer.20:7-- "You deceived me ,Lord, and I was deceived."
When I read this, it did not set well with my spirit. So, I looked it up. In context Jeremiah is lamenting. Also, when having trouble understanding a verse, I read different translations. The translation I read most is an Aramaic text, from the Peshitta.
The verse you speak of reads: O Lord, thou hast comforted me, and I am comforted... You can lament and still know and still be at peace, with the presence of the Holy Spirit.
I do not often respond to anything that I see on UA-cam but, I did feel that I should here. Bless you as you walk in the the Lord Jesus the Christ.

Yeah,I can see what you mean, but I have to wonder why believers have to go to different versions of the Bible(Peshitta,KJV,etc.)to get the "real and accurate truth." -Coming from the omnipotent, omniscient God of the impossible,if God wants the maximum amount of people saved,through the understanding of the Bible,it only makes sense that his book would be supernaturally clear,concise,and precise-far exceeding anything humans can produce.No matter what I.Q. a person has or what background-the Bible should be the easiest to understand book surpassing any book that anyone could think of.Instead,what do we have? A million interpretations,who knows how many translations,and over 30,000 denominations(and counting).You and others should not have to go to the Peshitta and other Bible study helps.What you read on the face of the Bible's pages-no reading between the lines,because the Bible is the lines.
I Look at it like this, I have had and raised two children. I even homeschool them from 4th and 5th grade thru high school. They and their friends each learn and receive differently. If you say the same thing 3 different ways, a great majority will understand what you are saying. ( I learners early on this is how public school teachers teach their lessons.)
So, if I am reading from the Bible and am not understanding what the verse says or it seems to contradict another verse or I feel a check in my spirt ( similar to the reason I responded to your text.) I go to different versions, to study. I am not a Bible scholar, I just crave The Word. I like the Aramaic text because it's cultural aspects to draw from. Though I have found that some verses I get better understanding when I pull from different translation. Though I am analytical I am not always the sharpest knife in the drawl and need it said a different way, to get the meaning. Much like those children in school.
Above everything before I read, I pray, asking that the Holy Spirit come to me and through me, and reveal his Word.
I hope that my a temp to explain how I study is received and blesses you. I pray for understanding and try and stay out of the way, to let the Holy Spirit do His good work. :)
