Hey Carlos, thanks for your comment. Really appreciated. I have lived in Athens for over 6 months but funny enough I haven't created any content on it. I should start LOL. Here are my top 2 day out of Athens: - Aegina island - I suggest renting a scooter and explore the island - Rent a scooter and head to Sounion down at the end of the peninsula. The road is lovely as well as the archeological site Enjoy Athens
Which island do you recommend for beautiful beaches, hikes, fairly lively nightlife and activities? My husband and I visited Chania Crete and found it to be a bit tacky! Otherwise it had everything
Great beach, good nightlife, but not in the loud way. It used to be mostly for a young crowd 20-25y ago. Nowadays you can find the same couples going back for a "revival". But of course much older, like in my case 🤣. So, it's not anymore the crazy island it used to be.
@@StefanoFerro Thanks! Very helpful. Me and my wife are planning to go to one of the greek islands but they are so many to choose from. We like Mykonos but it seems to be a bit expensive. We would like some options for restaurants and shops, but not so much for nightlife. Pretty small but not too small (boring) if you know what I mean. And it would have to look beautiful as well with smal white stone houses and nice beaches. What would you recommend? We are in the mid 30s.
@@Penyes take it as my opinion, we are all different of course. Ios is a good choice, there is a good mix of all you ask for Paros has also the mix that you are looking for, stay in Naousa if you can. Avoid the east coast because very windy Naxos is also a great choice but quieter. I do love the old town and plenty of nice beaches. It's a big island though, but I would visit and stay mostly on the east coast. Astipalea is the unknown gem, much less touristy but also very quiet. The old town is spectacular and it gets lively in July August. Mykonos has the best beaches, but very busy, especially Juky and August. Beautiful old town, but again very very busy, besides expensive. It is the VIP island after all I hope I didn't actually make harder your decision 🤣 Enjoy your trip
Very accurate information and nice job. Thank you.
A Greek traveller.
No worries👍
Thank you for this valuable information and recommendations!
No worries Olesia😁
Wow, very informative - keep up the great work!
Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you again for your great video. What about Athens day trips, what do you advise?

Naxos is a great one for all of that. I also made a video on it. It doesn't have the crazy nightlife of Mykonos, but everything else is there
What category does Ios fit into?

Budget couple? = samos/kos
Probably Kos for package holidays. Tilos for independent breakaways
